Nothing is more inspirational than a man standing alone against the power of the institution governing world order. William Tyndale is not a household name in the same way Henry VIII is, but the 2 men not only lived at the same time, but had as synonymous influence on world history, each representing their side of societal hierarchy. Bloodthirsty, power hungry, opportunistic. All of these words are representative of Henry; it was Tyndale that made Henry’s break from the Roman Catholic Church and establishment of the Church of England understandable to the common folk of England. For it was Tyndale who dared to translate the holy scriptures from Latin, Greek and Hebrew to English, the only language spoken by the majority in England. Tyndale evaded his would be captures and was not perturbed until, one fateful day, he met his demise. This is the story of God’s Outlaw, the man that made God an Englishman.

Fun fact: St Patrick wrote a translation of the Bible into the Irish language before the Church forced St Patrick to stay on Ireland and took away his position because of a long lost “big sin” (even though God forgave sin with His Son) he committed. That was less than a thousand years before Tyndale and Luther.

@@danielhphillips he only actually translated a few parts of the Bible, from Latin to Celtic runes, and only mentioned it in his memoirs.

If the Tyndale Bible was so great, why doesn't anyone use it anymore?

Because; old English and it likely wasn’t the greatest translation.

The legitimate, authentic prophetic Word of Yahuah was inspired through the prophets in Eberith (Hebrew). Greek was the first translation of those prophets' writings, but in itself the Greek was not inspired; it was only the interpretation of the original as accurately as possible by men. The Greek translation was intended for the use of all those called to be obedient to the Word, since the Greek language was spoken by most people living around the Mediterranean region.

The New Testament was written in Koine Greek. There are no original Hebrew manuscripts. By the time of Jesus the local language was Aramaic. Greek was widely spoken throughout the Eastern Mediterranean and much of the Roman empire just as English is the most widely spoken language today.

@@jburtonca The term "New Testament" is an invention of the pre-Nicene circus fathers, particularly the 2nd century Marcion (of Sinope) doctrine. Yahusha's renewal of the Eternal Covenant (Asereth haDabarim) in HIS blood (rather than animal blood) is not a new testament, but a complete and thorough redemption of those who respond with their pledge of obedience. The Magisterium's promotion that the first Natsarim wrote their messages in Greek is a fabrication, since they spoke to one another in the Eberith language (see Acts 1:19, 22:2, 26:14). The first Natsarim wrote in their native language, which contained many idioms that carried-over into other translations. The circus fathers Epiphanius and Bonacursus wrote that they met one of the Natsarim that had in their possession a copy of MatithYahu in the Eberith script, "as it was originally written." When the scroll of MatithYahu turned up in cave 1 at Qumran, the Jesuit cave looters hastened to steal every scrap of writing throughout the other caves, and conceal them for over 50 years, and still withhold those most dangerous to their doctrines. The writings are not to be divided; the old covenant was written on a scroll and placed beside the ark (Dt. 31:26) and it required animal blood offerings, by means of the old priesthood that implemented it. The renewed Covenant in Yahusha's blood made the former obsolete (Eberim 8:13).
