Can women teach the Word of God to other women according to Scripture or because it's a conference and not a church makes a difference? I thought older women are to teach the younger women how to love their husbands and their children. I'm not attacking, just seeking clarity.

I feel like women are starting to push it with the idea that this kind of thing isn't actually preaching (it is) and while I haven't listened to what she has to say yet, the more I hear women preaching like this to other women, the more I'm thinking it's best if there's no grey area and it's left to the men (as scripture says). Women still tend to soften the teachings and that's not what we need. We need older women to TEACH the younger women how to love their husbands and children and how to take care of their homes, not to exposit Scripture. Even lead a women's study, sure, but with male oversight. And preaching? Even if it's just to a room full of women? No. We can learn just as well from male preachers (probably better!) about what our biblical role is and how to live our lives for Christ. And there's plenty of places we can go for sisterly encouragement, without it being female preachers. Like The Transformed Wife, Allie Beth Stuckey, The Joyful Journey podcast, etc.

While there is that specific command of older women teaching younger women in Titus 2:3-5, woman still need to be able to teach the Word properly to do that. And they need to know how to teach the Word to their children, like Timothy's Mom and Grandma surely did based on 2 Timothy 1:5. The whole of scripture is part of our sanctification (2 Timothy 3:16-17, John 17:17), therefore women also need to be able to rightly divide it (2 Timothy 2:15) for application and exhortation. Women will need to learn the Word of God in order to share, exhort, and live, and this would include teaching as well.

Excellent speech, and the following small negative criticism should NOT be taken out of the context that this IS an excellent presentation. Ask why after 2k years of even the most heretical churches following the command of Paul that women ought to put something on their heads in the 1960s this practice rooted in the first 3 chapters of Genesis (not culture ) was abandoned? The Greek word is for something, not for a total coverage. Godly women ought to return to visibly declaring themselves under male authority as they did before the bonnet rebellion. If this is a small matter, then even more why not put a head cover? Is it because you might be criticized for obeying Scripture?

Fellow Godly sister here: While THIS is being taught. Curious ? On this subject …. Where is the passion on the subject. I’m observing “ polite” intimidation or even dedication on the subject…. But WHERE IS the PAUL the apostle “ QUALITY “ of JOY on the subject (????? Paul : the same guy who was jailed more times that he was free.. That man ( follower of Christ) had MORE MYSTERIOUS JOY, excitement towards the church he’s He addressed As he was writing to the churches elsewhere. The teaching is good…. BUT……. WHERE IS the passionate JOY inspite of it (??)

ALL THINGS COME FROM GOD, EVEN JESUS: In John 16:27, Jesus tells us that all who loves him and believes he *came forth from God* belongs to God. Verses prior, in John 16:25 Jesus says he will *show us plainly the Father* and that the Father loves all who believe Jesus came from him. Jesus came from the beginning of all things: GOD. God the Father was always here, self-existant and eternal. God made the commandment and Jesus created it using the power and spirit given to him by his Father. Jesus came from God, and he is eternal as well. Jesus himself is the beginning over and beyond all mankind/flesh and no thing was created without Jesus (John 17:2). They are both the first and the last: God the Father is the beginning of all things and Jesus is the beginning of all creation. It is God who shall make the last judgment through his Son. The Father and Jesus started this Earth age together and will end it together, for they are both the alphas and omegas (Isaiah 44:6, Revelation 1:8). We must remember Jesus’ words to the Father: you are the only true God (John 17:3), and that the Father gave Jesus life (John 5:26).
