I knew my standards were low when the guys I chose always told me they didn’t deserve me.

"Know the Bible for yourself" This is needed today. I was once in this position before, I was so desperate to be in a relationship to the point to where every beautiful woman I see I have to chase. Until, I gotten a wakeup call three years ago in baptism class. I was only focusing on looks and not character beauty is vain but a woman of the Lord shall be praised Proverbs 31:30-31. I wasn't realizing this until I studied Proverbs 31. As a Godly man I'm now content single chasing after women who loves themselves and the Lord not just anybody. Also, I'm in school right now learning how to fix airplanes this is a 21 Month program may the Lord guide me through Amen

Coming over from Spotify and wanna say my man and I loved your book! We also studied the Bible verses you had put in it and reflected on it daily during our phone calls. Our mini book club was fun 😁 Some signs I knew I shouldn't have been in my past relationships and still stayed were one guy saying he was saved then having a DUSTY bible AND not living a Christian lifestyle, another guy wasn't even a Christian (he was Muslim) and lastly I bought another a Bible, and he only read it for a couple weeks then kept complaining about how this "God thing" wasn't working and he had needs 🙄. I knew I should have broken it off with him year 1 but stayed for almost 4 smh. I'm so glad I'm out of those situations and am with a man that actually has a relationship with God for himself and keeps me accountable in mine as well. He respects God's Word and strives to live by it everyday. And I see that in how we're both growing spiritually as individuals and when we come together it something unexplainable. I thank God for him everyday.

Congrats! 🎉 I’ve seen this wave of other fellow Christian Creators not posting for some time. Just gotta understand everyone is in their season & when the time is right you’ll be back. I don’t think it’s talked about enough but your standards can be severely low at the beginning of your walk. For example I had a work friendship where I thought that they were sent from God because they believed in God and was a “nice” person on paper . But I gave them so much grace because of who they were in other areas. I eventually distanced myself over time based on my experience with them, but would’ve if I understood the concept of observing fruit a lot sooner I didn’t learn until months later. The enemy definitely sent an archetype I was familiar with in the past, an old best friend. But because they had a little sprinkle of I believe in God it felt like this was as best as it would get in the work environment . Only for God to introduce to me someone who was far more submitted to their walk and not lukewarm within the same workspace. Babes in Christ have more of a yearning to find Christlike friendships that we would fall into low hanging fruit syndrome by just accepting the bare minimum; when God can give us top tier relationships .

I might have to start associating with more Christians, just because it’s so rare for me to find anybody with any kind of moral compass in the wild. It’s exhausting, disappointing, and pitiful.
