Godot 4 Top-down Controller in Mins

you could use tween function to smooth the rotation after I learned i am adicted to use everywhere that has little animations like that

Question, what happens if I don't rotate the sprite to 90 degree at start. The sprite is actually going up with it being rotated to 90 degrees when I press up. Also I'm seeing an unusual behaviour or the car I'm trying to move. It's not reversing instead changing the direction within a split second which is incorrect.

How can I make a more realistic movement system? I will definitely use steering behavior. I would like to make a movement similar to that in Project Zomboid. Anyway, I'm testing some stuff thanks to this video. Thank you very much!

Hey there! How did you make Godot 4 work? I have the exact same issue as you did.

Sadly the only way I got it to work on my end was by reinstalling windows nothing else seemed to work for me but I would highly suggest you post your issue on the Godot GitHub page and ask there about your specific issue and only do the windows reinstall solution after having tried everything else as a last solution to resort to. and if you do resort to the windows solution make sure you backup your computer

@@rayuserp Yeah I figured it out lol, somewhere along the way my character body 2d was changed to a node2d. Changing the node types quickly fixed the issue lol

I haven't really done much with mobile projects but it should be the same way you would import any asset in godot for any type of project simply by dragging your assets to the file system area in godot
