Your video has saved me! Just received my Godox 120 and no instructions on how to assemble and your video was very helpful, thank you
@dicklloyd95842 жыл бұрын
I just had exactly the same experience. You would think Godox should supply an assembly instruction leaflet with their products. Anyway, this video was super helpful.

You just stopped a battle in my living room trying to set it up. Thanks for saving my sanity... or what's left of it anyway. hahaha

Good soft boxes 2 problems I've found 1 flimsy when trying to take apart and 2 near put my shoulders out taking it apart 🙃 lol

It amazes me how easily people settle this. It took half hour for me the first time

Reading the comments about the difficulty of assembly...how lazy are people, take 10 minutes to assemble it and quit whining, it’s a budget soft box jeez. Good job on the vid man 👍🏻

It's actually easy to assemble. The hard part is breaking it down. I took me 5 mins to assemble it

I don't know if Godox is easier than Neewer but I am literally on the floor both feet on the mount in the middle trying to jam these bloody sticks in the the base mount. Shoot me! hahahaha

I'd love to see a video of that, putting mine down takes too long and the rods end up twisted

A muzak version of "Shape of You?" 🎵 That was kind of cool. I followed your step-by-step video because my kit came without directions. Your method is solid, but my softbox was much harder to assemble. I had to use a screwdriver to open the velcro in order to fit the rods. And it took a lot of muscle to bend the last 2. Thanks! Stay safe and have fun. 😷🤪
@QuestBboy4 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Glad to help. It definitely needs some breaking in
@andyvan56923 жыл бұрын
yes, they look hard!, but most video's show that you add the rods like tightening the nuts on your car's wheel, opposites first for the first 4 rods, then, do one;skip one, until you are done! ( plus as I recall these fitings have coloured dots on the holes, some for square modifiers, others for octagons, and all for the parabolix; most makers do this to help with identifying where everything goes, and which rods to add first[some are structural, ie stronger for 'basic' assembly]).

Don't cry baby, I took mine back! Mine one was a lot harder to assemble. Very difficult for me to get them into the outer holes of the umbrella. After dismantling it, which nearly gave me a hernia, some of the wire struts became bent.

For this on yes because it was not made for a grid. There are others that come with a grid however.

Thanks for the straightforward video! Do you think Godox V1 (76W) would be enough to light this one up, say indoors only? Or would you rather go with the 95 cm version for that purpose?
