I remember the first time I heard you guys and I was a instant fan. Saw you at Alpine way back in 2001 and remember it as yesterday. I can understand needing a break but yet still want to take my son to 1 of your concerts since he has became a huge fan by listening to it from me! Love you Sully & the guys that make Godsmack GREAT!!!! ❤❤❤

Nice when someone recognized that they can appreciate what they achieved and take care of themselves for a while, and truly be aware that money isn’t the only motivator as they age. In terms of energy- he didn’t look burnt out Tuesday night in Bangor! He absolutely crushed it. The man is a showman and musically gifted! Cheers -

not burnt out with music, but rather the production/promotion of it. the band is at home on tour.

When I listened to Godsmak's second album (Awake) in 2000. My soul, disturbed by events that were difficult to overcome such as the death of my father, my divorce, among other difficulties, served as a refuge for me so as not to faint. His guitars sounding like drums, his toughness in facing situations, Sully's splendid voice, his fight to make a place for himself in the world, inspired me. In fact; I felt (and still believe) that it was a help that God had sent me. Just what I needed to accept my loneliness in the world and not break down. Today, after so many years and knowing that you are retiring, I extend this note to you as a thank you. As a band they will never know the level they have reached in people's souls (I hope there are many) I had a sun tattooed on my back, which has helped me illuminate myself in the midst of so much darkness. Thank you!

Fell in love with Godsmack in 1995. I especially love Sully's solo stuff. The band is EXCELLENT but Sully really showcases his immense talent and spiritual side in his solo stuff. Take some time and enjoy life, guys. You deserve it. Thank you for all the years. All the memories. And all the nights when sometimes your music was all that made me feel anything inside. Much love to Sully & Godsmack. My very favorite artist!!

I wish I'd found you a lot sooner because you'd probably have helped me through a lot of devastating times, you're lyrics just give strength to fight on for everything you want . Interviews with you just don't show all the emotion you give to your causes. Damn the Covid!!! I'll miss that superior touch you have with reality & delving deep in to the human soul of emotion. Sully, there are people who write melodies...and then there are people who show emotions in lyrics & touch the audience thru that, you are a writer who gets the audience by doing all that! The world will miss what you!!@

Mind you, it’s been 23 years and most bands don’t even get signed, period. They all have put in their time but maybe focus on his podcast, or not😂 Robbie is an insane blues bassist, who influences me to take up bass in the future. Just having one thing going on in your life like music, can make you very one dimensional and I can definitely appreciate Sully’s insight to change things up and add some flavour to his melting pot of their life. Good on Sully to look at what really matters in life. Best wishes to the whole band and their families ❤❤

I feel exactly what he’s saying. Their comes a time when you have to reassess you life so you don’t miss out. Two years ago, my son turned 6 and I changed my whole life so I wouldn’t miss out on his childhood as it goes so fast. I’m happy with the catalogue of albums they’ve created. I think he has a great perspective.

All I can do is cry. I never imagined this day would come...especially so soon. I fell in love with Godsmack in 2000. I snuck the self titled album into my house as a 15 yr old. The rest is history. They've been my favorite band my whole life. Got the sun logo tattooed on my right shoulder on my 18th bday. I just don't understand this move. I personally think Sully is burnt out. Because if he's about the fans, he won't quit. I just hope he takes a break, re-thinks this, and brings it back. It's a hope and a prayer.

So refreshing how self aware the entire band seems to be. The last two albums were great, i think “Legends” is their best album since The Oracle. Hes right though, past a certain point you wanna go see the songs that you love and are the reason you have those fans to begin with. Same with Metallica honestly, i loved Hardwired, 72 Seasons is good, i haven’t spent enough time with it yet to say its GREAT but i wanna see them play Blackened and Puppets and Fade to Black, Creeping Death etc, its awesome their still working but neither Godsmack or Metallica are at a point where they wont fade away if the dont put out a new record. Their lives arent all hanging on the new album. Its great to see someone embrace it so publicly.

I’m 50+ …. Going on 25 😂. I just purchased tics to see them in two weeks. I asked my daughter to go and would gone alone if she wouldn’t have agreed. I too had friends that were “ so into GS” a couple of decades ago, and I just didn’t get it! For the last 5+ years they (and shinedown) have been my all x’s #1! I loved the hometowns too. It allowed us to see how genuine and what an all around great dude Sully appears to be! Which made me like them more if that’s even possible. I don’t do crowds anymore and had pretty much sworn of areanas and large events but when I saw this intimate evening with GodSmack at a smaller venue ….. take my $$$$ , I’m there!!

CHANNELING...MY THEORY WAS RIGHT...BUT PLEASE IT IS NOT TO BRING WATER TO MY WELL... I truly believe now that he doesn't understand that CHANNELING is "a thing" He doesn't know he is a very old soul with a mission... But I'm not aware if he has mentioned his inspiration for his many songs... I will give interpretations to some of his lyrics on his Facebook page hopefully he will find it amusing... Here is the thing I will show you how inadvertently he has expressed very deep and ancient CONCIUSNESS CONCEPTS... I DO HAVE TO BE MYSELF AN EXAMPLE this time, I apologize. I had 5 days of consecutive dreams that would continue an epic sci-fi story where it was left the night before!! It was amazing!! I couldn't wait for myself to dream about it even after the very first night!! I wrote the story just to find out after half a century ...That the woman I was seeing in there was none other than my TWIN FLAME!!...I will soon be publicizing such story So here is the thing guys...ANYONE CAN ACHIEVE A STATE OF "FLOW" IF PROPERLY TRAINED!! We get such inspiration from none other than THE COLLECTIVE CONSCIOUSNESS QUANTUM FIELD... Sully's songs have a lot of meaning to me as well. And I do have another book about being the only one deciphering the secrets of the Mayans about free energy machines, longevity and more real instructions on how to make them, not just words Wish me luck... Much abundance to all!!
