I've known the band Godsmak existed, but wasn't ever a fan of their music until now at the age of 62!! I love their music and I can totally relate to the words of all of their songs from ballads like "Until then", Under your scars" and through their heavy metal rock songs "Something Different", "VooDoo", "Serenity" and all of their other songs. l'm loving all of their music!! I went to see Godsmack in Windsor Ontario and it was the BEST CONCERT I've ever seen. I'll be listening to them until I'm too old to hear. They were Awesome!!! I've had this song, Surrender, and pretty much the entire Legends album in my head for months now. I've been listening to the band since 1998 and still love their music. @@BuildersAngel Indeed, the best part is the tuning of the guitars used whether they squeak or growl is tuned in such a way that neither competes with Sully Erna's vocals ever. The combination of all parts enhance every song in a different way but perfectly. The production quality on everything they did is top notch. The labels definitely took these guys seriously when they asked them to sign a contract and honored them beautifully.

Well Sully Erna has said he's done writing because it's been too much on him and the band to do all the prep work and he feels that he doesn't have anything to prove anymore. He accomplished what his heart set out to do in the studio and is more worried about a greatest hits show for his legacy. Meanwhile he rather focus on being a father and fiance/husband and when the band wants to tour, they'll get together again.
