Thank you Fr. Gregory and Fr. Bonaventure, great episode and great example. Thank you for this podcast: it allows Catholics like myself who might not otherwise engage in important conversations like this to do so and gain a deeper understanding of the faith.

This is one of my FAVORITE episodes of Godsplaining. Father Joseph Anthony (of Padua) asked our small group for our favorite. This is one.

I so much enjoyed this video. As always, great job Fr. Pine and Fr. Chapman, very interesting discussion on the end times. Dr. Ralph Martin is one of my favorite Catholic speakers and authors, so thanks for having him on Godsplaining.

Thanks for this episode with Dr. Martin. I wish to echo his exhortation to you all to remember that your preaching has the power through Jesus Christ to save souls. And I thank you for becoming priests and serving as you do. May God bless your efforts and sacrifices for His kingdom.

Always love hearing from Dr Martin. He truly is able to deliver the hard truth today which is normally resisted by so many in a way that is joyful. Thanks for having him on your show.

Pray that I come into the Church, I'm deep in mortal sin and the things that are happening in and around the Church hurt me, I'm that coward can't even tell my parents how I'm feeling regarding the Church. Lord have mercy!

I like the insight that most Catholics are not converted.

By sharing your contemplation to us Fathers, I am a lot of times reminded while going about my daily affairs to do what is right and 'strive' to be holy as some points from these podcasts surface in my memory by God's grace. You may be kinda low key, there is still grace flowing from this body of work. Your joyful witness to the Gospel is grace. I think there is a proper time and place for strong preaching and a lot of times, a relaxed contemplation of God's Word is also equally efficacious.

How do we get our parish priests to preach judgment, repentance, sin, and not an appeasing idea?

Great video. Unrelated question, but if Adam and Eve existed with pure virtue in the Garden, how did they let the sin of pride overcome them?

Reversion is a work of the Holy Spirit . Reading another book won’t do it

Its prayer and fasting that converts with inspiration from the Holy Spirit.

So who do “we” blame for the faithful lacking the confidence in sacred scripture? Does the faithful just wake up one day and say: I don’t think I’ll believe in the Bible anymore. Like you there are dozens of people warning us about this or that. Who is not doing their job in catechizing?
@viviennedunbar33742 жыл бұрын
We all have to take responsibility for deepening our understanding of the faith and Jesus daily and catechizing those around us. If every Catholic did this we'd be fine.

Please share the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and that relationship. The Truth for these New Testament times. You want hear from the Lord? What happened to the Catholic Charismatic Movement! Holy Spirit is among us; wants to guide, teach us, and have us move in His Gifts. Read Acts. Not taught. Sad........

we need to pray, pray and pray and repent repent and repent in the context of love, hope and faith. we don't need to read anything.
