Car Cleaning Guru is one of the best detailing/valeting instructors on the internet for us "normal folks" out here. 99.9% of the people who watch Car Cleaning Guru's videos are normal job holding people across the world, not professional detailers and valeting professionals, although i'm sure they too watch him as well. We normal folks don't drive GTR's, Ferarri's, or other exotics or "semi-exotic" cars, but we drive Nissan Pathfinders, Honda Accords, and Dodge Mini-Vans. But we too are 100% passionate about our vehicles and keeping them in some sort variant of "perfect" condition. I, for one, am very thankful for the Car Cleaning Guru showing his useful tips to the masses. Taking time out of his day to video his work, talk and narrate his videos in simple, easy to understand manner. Thanks Guru! Keep these useful videos comin' They are well worth the effort and we certainly appreciate your advice.

Hybridsixtynine see I can’t tell if your joking but if you disliked because of that reason... Well finally that explains to me why there is always so many dislikes on videos, because there will also be people who can’t look past the tiny imperfections. Well if you did dislike because of that let me just tell you, you yourself are a contributor to global warming. Every time you buy food or items with packaging to be thrown out that is contributing. It’s the whole human race that causes pollution and no one can say they are 100% environmentally friendly.

@nick moreno you don't have replies enabled so I'll just comment here in the hope you see it! Pressure washers don't cause swirl marks which is why 99% of pro's use them. Using a hosepipe on your own car is fine but rocking up to detail a customer's car (that may have months of ingrained dirt on it) with one ain't gonna cut it!

@zealotsg8 жыл бұрын
I used to work at a carwash where they run the cars through a machine that "scrubs" them and then when they'd come out i'd grab some towels and dry them off and also wipe off some left over dirt. It was so horrible, some people brought in some very nice cars, Mercedes, Cadillac, BMW, some occasions foreign vehicles and I would just think to myself "these people are fucking up their paint" the machine did nothing but rub the dirt over the car and scratch it and our rags did the same. I hated the job for what it made me do to such nice cars, I swore to never take my car to a place like that ever. If I worked at washing cars this way then I'd enjoy it so much more. I would be able to be more thourough with the wash and also much more careful and correct. There's something about making a car go from dirty and grimy to shiny and glowing that enlightens me. I hope to one day do this with my future dream car or cars.

After the drying phase I usually take my car for a spin around the block to get rid of those pesky bits of trapped water in the wing mirrors and wheel nut recesses etc before going over any drips again with my drying towel and moving on to finishing. I would imagine that would be quite fun in your line of work! Top job as always, CCG is the boss.
