RE: the lcd screen - care is required. Some have an AR coating which can be removed by certain glass/screen cleaners as well as things like wet wipes etc. Once that AR coating is removed or damaged there's usually no way to put it back, other than by replacing the screen.

Any tips on products to use to protect lacquer? I have a 07 punto and its bright orange a common problem with the colour is lacquer peel!
@CarCleaningGuru9 жыл бұрын
Lacquer peel only usually occurs when the paint has been completely neglected and left unprotected for years. If you wash, clay, polish and protect it then keep it maintained every once in a while you should be fine!

Hello Guru, Do you still use your Dodo Wookie mitt? If so, how is it holding up. I'm worried it'll rip when used a lot and the price is quite high. Thanks.
@CarCleaningGuru9 жыл бұрын
+William Henry I still have it yes but have only used it a few times since. It's a super plush mitt that is very gentle on the paintwork but there's no denying it will degrade over time far quicker than it's synthetic counterparts. I give it a good rinse out after use, brush it with a plastic comb (yes really!) and let it air dry naturally.
