I’m a minus one fanboy but even I can accept that monsterverse Godzilla would destroy Godzilla minus one easily, because first of all legendary Godzilla has more experience, he’s more agile, he has more battle iq and more iq in general, he has more stamina, and Godzilla minus ones breath would not do anything because Godzilla minus ones breath creates a nuclear bomb and monsterverse Godzilla feeds off radiation so monsterverse Godzilla would just absorb the radiation from the atomic breath and become stronger. I really like the idea of M1 being small but extremely persistent and vicious. If he were to ever be in the same Kaiju fighting game as the Legendary iterations of Godzilla monsters, I think he would make for a great lethal joke character, in that while he might be tiny and weak looking, his small size would make him hard to hit and his aoe atomic breath explosion would be inescapable.

A very accurate visual on minus one vs legendary. Though I have to critique on Minus One's movements. He's not supposed to be that fast and from what I gathered he isn't capable of going quadrupedal. Plus, Minus One's atomic breath can only fuel legendary and make him go thermonuclear. And from what I watched in Kotm, legendary ghidorah's healing factor is much more potent than Minus One while Minus One godzilla needed time to regenerate after using his atomic breath leaving him vulnerable to physical attacks. Overall I'd rather have Legendary kill off Minus One due to it's aggressive behavior towards humanity along being a threat to the world if left unchecked. I love Godzilla Minus One but when it comes to safety I rather be safe with Legendary than being near Minus One.

This is one of many examples that illustrate why I can't take the Legendary Monsterverse seriously. They made their version of Godzilla so absurdly huge that he doesn't register as real. That also forced them to make Kong's size just as ridiculous. In both cases they have evolved them to have the speed and agility of normal size animals, with Godzilla sprinting and leaping, even though any organism that big wouldn't be able move at all and thus would never evolve to be that big. Even the Toho Monsters are on the verge yet remain within our ability to suspend disbelief because we can place ourselves in the same space with them and believe (most of) the physics. With the Legendary films and X in particular I don't believe anything I'm seeing. They have gotten just as silly and dumbed down as the Fast & Furious movies. Of course the 💩human character development doesn't hurt. They killed off the one interesting character in Godzilla 2014 and never bothered creating another one.
