I agree with your points, especially about the characters. I rarely cry watching a movie and I did. This is easily my favorite movie of the year. Well said review dude!

Saw the film for the second time this Christmas weekend. Love it more! Hopefully Japan will re-release its b&w version in America in January 2024!

As of this moment, I have seen it 10 times and in a little while I’m going to see it for the 11th time. And then when it comes out in black-and-white, I’m gonna go see it again. I have been obsessed with this movie for a month and a half. I have never. other than Titanic, I’ve never been affected this much by a movie

That's awesome! I haven't been able to go back and see it again but I definitely keep thinking about it! I'm doing my top 10 of 2023 tomorrow and it will absolutely be on there!

I have seen Godzilla 1998. But I have heard of Godzilla 2014

I wasn't a fan of the '98 Godzilla but the one in 2014 was okay.
