yeah, it still feel very surreal to me a godzilla movie won a major award after decades of being seen as nothing more then campy B movies and being a godzilla fan is no longer seen as being a super nerdy thing anymore.

The problem is the special effects of godzilla minus one while great for its budget wasn't amazing. The opening sequence makes syfy originals look like a marvel movie.
