You can't read too much into this trailer. The movie comes out March 26th in the US at theaters and HBO Max. 1. They will fight in a couple of different locations with one being Pensacola, FL. 2. This trailer is a complete misdirect to make you think Godzilla is the villian. 3. You can clearly see MechaGodzilla in a couple of different spots in the trailer.

There is Some things I wanna say: that someone is actually hypnotizing Godzilla to act angry and lash out at humankind while King Kong is being transported from skull island to fight Godzilla back to his sanity. Mechagodzilla shows up to try to kill them both only for Godzilla and Kong to destroy mechagodzilla then go back to fighting. Another theory is that godzilla actually knows about something that monarch doesn't and monarch at first thinks godzilla is attacking when in reality he's actually attacking Apex for building mechagodzilla or ghidorah, the conspiracy theory map madison has marks the apex locations godzilla has attacked and something is driving him angry. Or there is 3rd Monster in this movie (Mechagodzilla) From Apex see in trailer (00:03 to 00:05) Maybe in the end Godzilla & Kong team up against Mechagodzilla

This is the continuation from King Of Monsters and Kong Skull Island. Basically there can be only one King among these monsters. Godzilla became the King maybe or other monsters accepted him as the king But not Kong. He doesn't bow to anyone. That's why Godzilla wants to destroy him as they are the last ones standing.

Lol... Good theory kinda...but that's not why. You can see Godzilla destroying humans/military camps etc. Godzilla never does some like that without reasons. Something is irritating it, like in the previous movie monsters (it's Mecha Godzilla this time, you can see it in the beginning) Godzilla just doesn't bother with humans, whereas Kong instinctively protects the weaker animals (humans or others). Hence Kong is fighting Godzilla.

U remember in the first Godzilla movie in the cave, they find a skeleton of a dead godzilla creature, and at the end of godzilla king of the monsters, u see the head of the ghidorah. the plot is that they use the brain of ghidorah and fuse it with the skeleton of the dead godzilla, and make Mechagodzilla. u see in the trailor several references to it, at 3 seconds and at 1.42, see the screen of mechagodzilla behind the guy and it is charging up.

The two companies Warner bros and legendary were having some drama due to money so the company legendary that put a lot of money into it didn't want to advertise the movie yet until they settled on their issue and they went back and forth who knows if they resolved it but anyways the trailer is out now, 2 months before release which is quite sad they made us real monster fans wait this long. That looks like Mecha-Godzilla!! Pause it at 0:04 on the trailer video. Also, at 1:42...look behind the guy and you will see what looks like the blueprint/schematics of a robot! Another, in Godzilla 2014, Godzilla is seen swimming next to a Air Craft carrier and he Dwarfs it. And in this trailer, he is standing on it with Kong! Ain't no gosh damn way that is the real Godzilla!! I think it is Mecha-Godzilla. Thats just from my observations though. LOL

I have watched multiple reactions of the G vs K trailer and find it amusing how everyone is responding to it. Whether a group is Team Kong or Team Godzilla doesn't really matter because the writers will determine who is the victor. As for team Godzilla saying Kong doesn't have a chance, is like saying a man has no chance to win a battle against any animal on the earth. Humanity is the true alpha on the planet because we use our intellect to strategize our choices to survive. Godzilla, if anyone watched the original movies, is a villain at times and a anti hero other times. Kong is more intelligent than Godzilla, faster and younger possibly than Godzilla, can make weapons and strategize as well. Godzilla is a brute force that can analyze short term moves of an opponent shown in the movies. Lastly, the reptiles era of dominance on earth has ended and the rise of the age of the primates. Kong will win because of his intelligence and tool making ability...if Kong made himself a shield from Godzilla scales to reflect or absorb atomic breathe to go along with his axe...game over. Plus, mega Godzilla is in this movie as well. Lastly, Kong and Godzilla are "Alphas" and there can only be one alpha, not to mention mega Godzilla is in this movie as well.

I think in the end, Kong will rule Hollowed Earth, while Godzilla will remain on the surface in the water, to fend off alien and human threats (Mecha Kaiju). And they'll team up in the future for any Kaiju that are truly a problem.

When you see Kong standing on the blue glowing thing on the ground that is apparently the skeleton of one of Godzilla's ancestors and the axe Kong uses is either one used by his ancestors during the previous monster war or he makes it from the dorsal fins from the old Godzilla skeleton. There will be a third party in this film who is causing the apparent bad guy behavior of Godzilla as both Godzilla and Kong are protectors and not villains. I believe the exploding mountain at the beginning of the trailer is the true monster villain coming forth.

Godzilla 2014, Kong skull island, and Godzilla King of monsters are all in the same world. This movie is a continuation of all three of those movies. It's the same Godzilla from King of monsters and the same Kong from skull island. There is something making Godzilla go ballistic. In the trailer you can see MechaGodzilla in the first four seconds. You have to pause though to see it. Some people are saying that it's MechaGodzilla in disguise but I doubt that. I think it's Apex using the Orca technology from last movie to make Godzilla go ballistic so Kong fights with him. And then send MechaGodzilla to try to kill the winner. That's my theory.

Think you guys don’t know about King of the Monsters, Skull Island. Also fun fact the reason for Kong being so small in the earlier films is that he’s still an adolescent and would grow into one of the biggest of his kind ever.

im just glad that the trailer didn't show much about how the story will be specifically, im scared watching trailers now because most shows a lot and kinda threw me off watching the full movie.

Of course it's a continuation... All 3 movies are connected to this. They are confused as to why Godzilla is attacking people.
