Godzilla the older he gets the more powerful he becomes. Scar king controls the first titan whose powers are ice. So godzilla having that red pinkish design makes sense. Since kong is the one fighting scar king so he will need godzilla to take care of the first titan.

On the whole I was listening to the cute little sounds coming from the baby, you should have had her on this trailer reaction, but yeah Godzilla gone all "PINK" mode based on an upgrade like Kong was upgraded with an armour or gauntlet in his right hand to face and take down their common enemy or opponent the mighty "SCAR KING".
