I think if the Cars were allowed to stretch out a bit they could of adopted these songs...mind you they were boxed into new wave then later pop radio MTV however these work great as deep album cuts if Ben would've lived...past works still in Stones new lps

Not that I know of. There were some Cap'n Swing songs that ended up as Cars songs but I don't think this is one, not even as a demo.

I think it’s about unrequited love ❤️ like maybe he loves a woman and he wants to be with her but it’s a secret and he doesn’t know how to tell her. So he just “Goes on Sleeping”
