To be fair Goku didn’t know the tournament would decide the outcome of each universe when he first brought up the idea so you can’t really blame the guy. If you ignore the results, the way I see it is that really they both win because it seems like Goku and Superman have become friends that enjoy their fight with each other. The reason this was made is because they felt unsatisfied that the 2nd one does a huge disservice to one of the characters so they made this one hope this helps! I personally enjoyed this even though like almost everyone I knew how this was going to end because it's not really about who wins the fight it's more so just how the characters are portrayed and how good the fight was and I think this did good on both parts and after looking through internet im not the only one which is nice! I wouldn't say any of the past DB's of supes and Goku where a disservice. The outcome for all three have been the exact same because it's just how it is. They actually by my surprise gave superman even more power than previous, I figured they would throw the weakest super man so Goku could take a Dub and the community would be happy with it. And as previously stated "what happens when you put a man who can break any limits against a man with no limits to break? Well only one has limits to give at all" (don't quote me that's been a long time)

There are people in this world that are not open-minded or utilize logic and reasoning, these individuals live off of their emotions and bias. I've always loved Goku more since childhood buying the Viz Media compilation books and the outdated orange brick anime sets, however Superman was created to be something completely different from Goku, literally it's a battle between a man who has no limits versus a man trying to break past his limits. Even though we all know Superman's story arcs and different versions isn't the best written piece of literature ever, his feats, super powers and other attributes are very impressive and hard to dismiss. It's just disappointing that after all these years the renegades still act like children over a wholesome exchange between two of the best heroes ever created. The reason they're dissing the comments is because they know they're in the wrong and angry their fanbase isn't supporting their shitty behavior. Don't worry about it, karma will put a stomping on their ass at the end of the day.

Fun fact: The brought in Masakox as a cameo voice as one of the Goku's they show among the multiverse tears Superman punched open as well as the previous Superman VA in another cameo tear (it's brief but you can hear them looking back on it). Definitely the best version of that match-up in arguably the best season of Death Battle. As for the season finale...eaters gotta eat...suck to be the surrounding planets no matter who wins.

Somethings to mention 1. That next-time trailer for Galactus vs Unicron. Those weren't stock footage or from any existing movies, those were from the animation. 2. For the past few months DB has been doing a Tournament of Champions where members of their YT channel vote on a future matchup for next season (similar to the 2D/3D Polls last year which resulted in Bill vs Discord and Cole vs Alex this year). The winner ended up being Wile E. Coyote vs Tom Cat. So that's gonna be a matchup next year

For clarity, Superman didn't fly off the planet to hit the World Forger, and that wasn't a star in the sky. That was the hole back to his home universe, because the universe the Forger trapped him in, _had no stars at all._ He didn't have enough power left to fly after searing for a way out, so he _jumped_ off that planet with enough force to shatter it, and made it all the way back home.

To get this out there for their ending decision of whether or not they'll keep doing this again every decade or so and Goku's Ls. So, the Death Battle team is starting to do live Q&A after every episode moving forward from this one and the big takeaway from the Q&A is that this was a passionate project for the whole team to celebrate how far the show has come for over a decade. Also, they felt they needed to do this fight one more time to open the gates for Goku to fight other people and for them to cover other Kryptonians like Supergirl and stuff. So, I'm pretty sure we'll never see Goku vs Superman again till possibly the series final season which who knows if Death Battle will ever end, we just got to wait and see

3:45 ultra instinct was not a thing in DBZ, but Goku was thaught in Dragon Ball, by Popo and Kami, to optimize his fighting moves to the fullest so he could move faster than anyone. It's nice that there's nothing to really be pissed at here, it's just a fun battle that sorta redeems the past. Part 2 was so unsatisfying and in a way... very unnecessarily cynical. Especially when taking into account how Superman won that battle. Over time recently people have actually taken a good look at both characters *as characters.* Yeah Superman wins, it's the gap between an over 100+ year old comic franchise and a 40+ year old anime/manga series. And sure neither character or their stories are perfect at all (they aren't even the peak of western and eastern fiction), but they are important to alot of people and they've helped to inspire so many others for years both in art and reality. Even if the Goku vs. Superman debate continues years after this, I'll forever say that this is the most satisfying conclusion. What I got from this was appreciation for value Optimism and Dedication, and not to make them clash. Funny then how the next battle is a moral opposite. Because it's a matchup where I won't really feel bad if one dies. *Entropy Now Descends.*

Honestly the diff between this one and the second one is the way they protray Superman's personality. Like the first neither of them showcased who they were, but the second goku was shown to be himself, reaching for new limits & never giving up on that goal, while super man was uncharacteristically cocky & mean spirited. Like goku didnt attack his family, friends or anything so it just didnt make sense the way he ended the battle. I believe thats why ppl really dont like the second battle, imo.

The fact that superman can create a singularity means he must have absorbed the mass and energy equivalent of at least 3 solar masses. That doesn’t mean absorbing the sunlight or taking a bath in a sun, but straight up consuming 3 entire solar masses. I doubt an average kryptonian can handle that much “food” unless they have been pushing themselves like Superman has. So that means Superman is just like Goku, pushing his limits. He just has an easier time doing so due to his biology, whereas Goku needs willpower.

It's kinda like Superman has...well, broken his limiter when it comes to the amount of solar energy he can absorb. I still remember that one story where he "died" once because he absorbed so much solar radiation that it was beyond the limit of what he could take and had his body start to slowly break down. But after that, now he can absorb way more radiation than back then with absolutely no drawbacks.

Ben and Chad have gone on record stating that they hate Superman. They just can't figure out how Goku could beat him. People have also been complaining that Goku and Superman only fight each other. There are a ton of guys that can match Goku and ones that can match Superman. I can't think of any for Goku of the top off my head but, for Superman there's Sentry and Hyperion who are carbon copies of Superman. Goku should never fight Superman again. Because while he's fought guys claiming to be Gods and survived Superman has defeated men that might as well have been actual Gods.

The second time the multiverse cracks is voiced by It'sJustSomeRandomGuy who is Superman's voice actor in the first 2 episodes

Today marks the end of Death Battle's Tournament of Champions, the fans of all 32 matchups that entered this 3 month tournament fought well, but now we've got our one winner that will happen for next year's season, they'll likely show it a bit more publically at the end of Galactus Vs Unicron so I won't spoil it, but I promise it won't be hard to find if you want to know the winner now. As more my opinion on the matchup, it's not my absolute favourite that showed up in the tournament but it's definitely high up there, and considering what it was facing in the finals, I'm glad it won.

It has really come to a point where it doesn’t matter anymore. Both characters aren’t relatable anymore and by no scale that we mortals use, are their abilities quantifiable. I'm just loving the new content and having fun.

Ironically Goku being dead would be a better fight because Goku wouldn’t have the restrictions his mortal body has. Plus being practically indestructible short of getting hit with Hakai could level the playing field for the durability category.

That's not to say that he can't still be beat while dead. Just look at what Kid Buu did to him and Vegeta. Heck, Goku basically even tells Vegeta in that same fight "Be careful, because if you die again, you're gone for good". Which might mean that if your spiritual body gets killed in Dragon Ball, you disappear permanently...Which is a horrifying thought.

It's always crazy to remember that Superman came out in 1938... before World War 2 and before the Atomic Age. The concept of the atom bomb didn't exist when Superman came around. In fact. there is a specific time known as the 'Present' which has a real definition. The present is now, in the sense of everything AFTER 1950. Due to the effects of so much nuclear testing, carbon dating is ineffective past that time. Meaning Superman comes from the Past in a very literal sense.

Kryptonian, all i have to do is train to control my powers but ill have all the powers, all saiyans have is super saiyan, Ki blasts, and flight since without anyone to teach you the ki techniques you arent teleporting or doing Kamehameha's. Now if you could control how much Saiyan DNA is in you it is better since it seems like it follows Devil May Cry Logic where the less magic DNA compared to the Human DNA the more powerful you are. (Shout out to Pan 1/4th Saiyan going Super before being born)

Galactus is an ancient, eldritch entity that eats planets in the Marvel multiverse. Unicron is kind of like the Transformers version of Galactus. The main differences being that Galactus is a weird organic/energy-based being from the early days of the Marvel universe. Meanwhile, Unicron is more-or-less Transformers Satan.

i think that goku could win next fight. this time he actually injured superman. don't believe me? look at supermans cape at the end. it's frayed. his suit/cape is protected by his bio electric aura. meaning it's just as durable as he is. so anything that can damage it can damage him. goku was strong enough to break through his defenses even if only a bit. another power up and i think he stands a legit chance of winning. superman wasn't kidding when he said that goku almost had him.
