​@@robertmoore1123 Fans are just like that, it pays tribute to no bearing on the youtuber. Anyway, the harshest criticism of Alex always seems to come from Alex himself. It's like he acts so full of himself, but he's the first to call him(self) out on it. It's not something you can easily read into. A lot of people are like that really. Maybe they are trying to act mysterious, maybe they are mysterious, maybe they have low self esteem, maybe they have too high self esteem, who knows. Either way, as others have pointed out, he seems to enjoy what he does (taking care of animals, herps in particular) and appears to do it very well. He frequently criticizes those who do not, including himself on occasions when he has failed to do so. Maybe he is a douche, but based on what we can see from his videos we cannot draw that conclusion. Don't be one of those dumbasses who overanalyzes everything, they are as bad as the people who preach against something right after doing just that. Also Alex in the unlikely event that you see this, keep up the shots at Brian, they are very entertaining as long as they are subtle.

My worst moment with my bearded dragon, (his name is jimmy) was actually just the other day. I was giving him a bath, I had him in my hand because I was letting the water warm up, and he takes a step and looks back at me. He has jumped out of my hand before, so I knew what he was doing. And I said “no jimmy” and he takes another step and I say “jimmy don’t!” And he runs, and jumps, and lands in the toilet. I started dying of laughter!! 😂😂😂 and then I started crying because of how hard I was laughing. And how stupid he was. I will never forget that moment, and will always wish I got it on video.

I find the whole "Sunny Saga" hilarious. I have a hognose who hasn't eaten in 7 months, she's lost very little weight, has no medical reason not to eat, she's just a massive drama queen. Conversely I have a couple of blind snakes who are force-feeds because they aren't slowing their metabolism as they want to eat, but have no idea what to do with food 😬 People need to realise just how dramatic noodles can be, they're fussy, sensitive, idiotic twats, but I wouldn't be without them.

As a parent: We lie when we say we don’t pick favorites. &despite popular belief- it’s usually the first born that is the “favorite”. And by favorite I don’t really mean “favorite” but more of “a closer bond”

As a firstborn child, I strongly disagree lol. The baby is the one that gets the most attention and preferential treatment. The middle kid is looked over entirely unless they're somehow the favorite, like my sister.

The way people reacted when sunny wasn't eating for a year was one of the many reasons why I left the reptile care community. There are good people that do care a lot for reptiles here (Like you Alex). But there are people that think they know everything and their own way is the only way. The people that throw around "abuse" whenever they disagree with your care or don't fully understand your reptiles health situation. I'm glad I left this community. No hate on you guys that actually want to help people grow as reptile keepers. You people helped me out a lot.
