When I was 14 years old a bunch of us were taking it in turns being towed on a skateboard behind a friend who had a motorcycle. We were trying to see who could could be towed the fastest... BRUH!!!! You did that at 30% power?!?! DOH! I would not ever attempt anything like top speeds when below 80% on my Onewheel GT, and I weigh like 135 pounds. I'm glad you didn't get hurt too badly, but am sorry you ate any street in the first place. Having said that, the fact the board got you to 30mpg at 30% battery is quite the testament. The GT can't do that! In fact, one of my Number ONE pieces of advice for fellow riders is to ALWAYS KEEP AN EYE ON YOUR BATTERY VIA THE APP. The heavier you are, or the steeper the hill -- the more conservative you have to be. God Bless.

I'm glad you lived to tell the tale. I experienced a scary nosedive at 39% charge on my OG Pint on the 4th dash attempt with no pushback warning when I got tempted (wasn't planned) to beat my own top speed as I was fully geared. Since then I never trigger pushback while riding or speeding up. I think you can even gain a better speed with the stability of avoiding a nosedive when you ride with the lighter sensor side as the rear.

I'm getting back into riding a onewheel style board now because they have plenty of overhead to cruise 20-25mph. My worst crashes have always been onewheel cut outs. 🍒on esk8 only wiped out twice at 32mph first month while learning to ride. Check for cellphone/keys, in 15sec riding away. soreness and hips/shoulder scratches. gone after good night's rest. 😱 OMG, it really makes a world of difference when you're on a single wheel vs four. Onewheels/unicycles your knees go down first, skateboard it's hands then elbows. That's what allows doing an appropriate tuck and roll since skaters need to be better at falling than riding anyway. watching you picking up pieces after onewheel rolls down the road is heartbreaking 💔 after hundreds of bailouts/potholes/curbs/stones can't remember a single time my esk8 flipped over. Actually watched lotsa accident vids before purchasing and mechanical safety beats electronic safety any day of the week. heck, one time after swapping to street wheels forgot to tighten one nut, wheel came off at high speed down the highway 🤣 I sheite you not... I barely noticed. why is the skateboard tilting to one site? slow down looking everywhere... nothing. Then I see a wheel rolling down the street 🤣 after a ton of mechanical/electronic catastrophic failures never wiped out (after the first month I was learning to ride, ofc) 😎 HAHA Speedy recover m8 💪

Good sport about it. 30%!?! Yikes my dude... Speed run should really only be done from 100-80%... The voltage and kV of the motor matter most and anything lower than that is going to lower top speed dramatically. I would say only do it off a fresh 100% balance charge, not just "once the light turns green" kinda thing. I sit and watch mine balance, it doesnt take as long as FM says (longer since it's been done, longer it will take).. wow no wrist guards or hand protection...you do know what you are doing. Maybe haven't seen many skateboarding videos of broken wrists or fingers. Try falling at 47 on an EUC. Stay safe my man.

I’m surprised that your pint x goes that fast. The fastest I went on my was 19mph
@Magic_sk8board_media3 ай бұрын
I'm on a g t s. Nineteen on a pint x is legit, the length of the board makes the pushback so high.It's insane!

That looks painful, 31mph is fast to fall at on a board, I sk8ed for so long and fell so many times but I dont think I was ever doing 31mph
@Magic_sk8board_media10 ай бұрын
Definitely painful lol! did you notice where I was at? 10/10 wouldn't reccomend😆😆
@B14CK_H4WK10 ай бұрын
@@Magic_sk8board_media yeah I know that spot lol, the ground looked okay there though, like no rocks or anything, but you might have sucked up some tire OPR and got stuck in the wheel or something throwing you off idk

@B14CK_H4WK I pushed past the power and speed threshold with minimal battery. This was forsure my fault...

If youre trying to push speed, next time dont do it with battery that low. Id only try to break my record speeds with battery between 75 and 90 percent.

💯 I'm good on testing speeds! I have a new gear regiment after this experience. Appreciate the comment.

Why 30% battery though? Let’s be more realistic and be above 50/60 hell why not start at 100

Thank you for the input. I was a bit ignorant to the results of testing speed with low battery percentage at this time. Nowadays I got full ppe And a high battery percentage
