Going for Rank 1 in OU with Sylveon!

Creator of the original team here. The main thing that should be clear is that I'm not a high ladder player, this isn't my first escapade into the competitive world but I still don't consider myself to be that good (that's why I subbed to this channel) I built this team with mons i liked and wanted to try out, nothing too crazy. I said on stream that I didn't put too much thought on building the team, I guess what I ment to say is that the choices for tera types and stuff like that weren't made with the high ladder in mind. I just wanted a team that was solid and was easy to make on console. I'm no genius, Slowking and Sylveon don't have any special super secret function, I just applied what I learned on this channel and got a little lucky I guess. Still, I'm glad Pinkacross liked the team and helped him get so high on ladder, I promise that the next team I submit won't be half as good :^)

@Tungdil_01 I suppose. Cinderace is higher, but they commonly run Blaze whereas Meow mostly runs Protean, so I guess it counts.

​@@Tungdil_01the set u turn, wow, court chang, Pyro Ball is pretty good and is interesting with Blaze because you keep the stab after a court change

@@Tungdil_01blaze has 2 main advantages besides the obvious occasional fire boost, keeping pyro ball stab after court change, and safely uturning on flame body mons like Moltres (the only real consideration in OU), Heatran, and Talonflame. Situationally worthwhile naturally.

32:24 I assume it was because using both meant Protect would block your attack while Tera Dark would prevent the Future Sight damage Or were you questioning their decision to use Protect after the Tera Dark instead of another move?

Tera Dark made sense, I was surprised my opponent wasn't more eager to remove my Iron Treads' Balloon. If I were them there, I would have clicked Knock for sure.

@@Clipsproducer I like that Sylveon is stronger, hits through substitute (notably Kyurem) and has more HP for wish passing. I'd say it's better.

Sylveon is because Sylveon(for the sake of roles i guess it’s calm mind, wish pass,and hyper voice is very strong and can win against some certain cm mons.), there could also be other roles that I don’t see(like defensive utility?)
