My oldest son is in his early 20's and he has type 1 diabetes. But thank God for this piece of article kzbin.infoUgkxVYhghKWmrUgXARZ_ydZTvmmcrw5L0I5i At first he thought he had the flu and was lying down on the bed for three days until his sister took him to the hospital. They took his blood and it was 600. What I do not understand is how he could have gotten it, since no one in the family has it. But he is winning the battle now. This is good stuff.

Hi, we do not have any specific guidance on roti bread, although it may be worth having a look at the calorie and carb content of other types of bread. Here is the link to our information on breads: www.diabetes.org.uk/guide-to-diabetes/enjoy-food/carbohydrates-and-diabetes/bread-and-diabetes

I've been a diabetic for over 4 years now. I came to a conclusion and realized why do I have to feel like this disease defeated me. It's been a little over a month now and my doctor said my a1c is 5.6 which is in normal level. I'm saying this to everyone, don't let anything consume you, defeat this disease and take your life back. If I can do it, we all can. Believe and you shall receive. Thanks for reading.

Very good informational video. I have adult onset of diabetes. As a kid, I used to eat very unhealthy. Moreover my main culprit was PCOS which I got diagnosed at 21 years old. I did not take it seriously and continued my unhealthy eating habits which led me to my type 2 diabetes diagnosis after 4 years. Eat food as medicine, then there is no need for real medicine.

I have a friend who at age 26 got diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. She also had Ketoacidosis. She lost about 45 pounds and put her diabetes into remission. She hasnt had to take insulin in years and her blood sugars have been fine. She gave me the name of 3 supplements she took that help keep blood sugars down and told me how she eats now. She has beer, cake and chips and is fine. She makes sure her proteins are the same size or larger than her carbs and adds a veggie. Then on holidays if she pigs out she makes sure to exercise right after, as exercise brings down blood sugar levels.

What are the 10 signs of high blood sugar?
@larryfroot9 ай бұрын
Getting my blood sugar lower and lower and so much of that is exercise. But as someone with fibromyalgia it is as difficult as it is - ultimately - succesful. When I'm walking I put the pain in a padded cell in the back of my brain. Unfortunately it's not sound proofed! Then home and major collapse. But together with dietary changes I've lost over two stone and am aiming for remission. I wish there were more resources for diabetics with pre-existing neuropathic pain conditions. It has felt a bit lonely at times.

Hi there, it's difficult to give a timeline of how long it might take for someone with type 2 diabetes to go into remission. You can read more about diabetes remission on our website here: www.diabetes.org.uk/guide-to-diabetes/managing-your-diabetes/treating-your-diabetes/type2-diabetes-remission We hope this helps, take care.
