You have got this, stay with it. It will get better, I promise. A good way to get through it is to stay closeted until you move out. That way, your parents don't have control over you, and you can transition and come out to your friends. I have seen many people do that, and it worked very well with them. I promise it gets better, and keep your chin up. Keep chugging through life, even if it is really hard. 😘❤

Does anyone else get the really exciting feeling in your stomach when you think about your trans future? Idk, I just get really excited seeing a binder, or wearing boys shoes for the first time in my life. (Mom said I would regret them, they are the best decision I have ever made.) Does this just happen to me? Halp. Also it's like 3am and I literally have to stop watching this particular video, because of excitement.

So yeah, thank you for this video, you're amazing.

I'm glad my parents want to help me out though, trying to use the right pronouns, trying to stay away from accidentally saying my dead name... Katrina J. I am the exact same! I went to spain this summer and I am insecure about showing my tummy, chest, hips, thighs and back and so i got a teen's swimming costume and then put long swimming shorts and a rash guard over it so my chest didn't show. I am thinking about getting a binder that I can swim in but I think it might have a similar effect to the swimming costume under the rash guard - not sure if I should spend more money haha. Anyway lol that was a ramble xD glad to find someone who has the same struggles :))

So I’m not FTM trans but I am MTF trans and I literally hate myself for not saying anything when I was younger I always felt like a girl and I would always want to go to the girls restroom and I always hated having something down there ( if you know what I mean) and I always wondered why I couldn’t go into the girls restroom and I once asked my mom and she told me that it’s because I’m a “boy” and I just said ok but I wanted to cry so bad for the fact that I was a “boy”. Now I have so much dysphoria because of my body and literally everyday I get more suicidal and I have to calm myself down with videos from you ( the best one ) and some other creators but yeah you mostly make me feel like I can be who I want to be so one thing that I want to do is say thank you kovu for giving me confidence and knowing that I can do what I want again thank you Kovu.

I feel for ya. I'm FtM but I still get the dysphoric bit. As an adult, the best site to help with bottom issues and dysphoric is Adam and Eve. Even though they have general sex toys and stuff, they have a lot of stuff for trans people, whether it's bottom binding or fake breasts/packing, so that may help you a bit. Also, for general clothing dysphoria, Old Navy is a general clothing store that my MtF friend found was quite useful for her body shape, and flattered her better than most clothes. And if those are too expensive (I understand), Wish is a great website for discounted items of both prospects. I hope this helps, and I hope you reach happiness and being happy with yourself. Cheers!

Me at 5: I'm a girl Me at 8: I'm a boy Me a week ago: I'm agender Me earlier today: I'm fluid between feminine and agender (I don't know what that's called) Me now: I have absolutely no idea edit: updates. I changed my name and pronouns to they/them about a year ago but I didn't really like it so I changed back to she/they. Now I'm pretty sure I'm straight up a trans guy and I want to go by he/him but I'm worried it will change again and I have to go back. Being referred to as a girl makes me really uncomfy and I always have to remind myself that I'm a girl because in my head I'm a boy? Weird. edit.2: so. i told my family i was a transguy. but now im really not sure again. its like as soon as people actually start calling me he/him i dont like it? i dont know. because the thing is, i like being a girl? i want to feel like a girl. but i dont. except i do sometimes. i think it depends on who im around? like i want to be perceived by strangers and cis men as a boy but i dont want to be perceived as anything in particular by my close friends and other trans people, but i would like to be seen as more feminine leaning by my girlfriend if i ever have one? im so confused. edit 3: 2 years later and I'm still struggling to figure myself out. I think I'm genderfluid and that is what I've been identifying myself with. I think I also heard once about something called mirrorgender? which is like when it changes depending on who you're interacting with? I think mine might be something like that but also encompassing how I'm feeling and like everything about me, I don't know how to describe it. I think I do experience dysphoria. And my pronouns are he/she!! I didnt know you could do both without including they/them! wow!

My mom finally bought me a one piece swimsuit that has wider shoulder straps and covers far more skin than the regular girl swim suits. The special thing about this is that she got me one that comes with swim shorts to go with it. YAY. At the same time, she doesn't like how I don't wear more feminine colors and stuff so... ye. I wish I had a small chest T^T

I just got back from holiday and I used a swim/surf shirt and it worked really well. The bottom was elastic and helped keep my swim shorts from falling down and hid my more feminine hips. I was also binding and my chest looked more like pecs and the way the sleeves shaped around my biceps made them look bigger which made my whole top area look more masc.

Kinda, yeah. The few times I’ve done it it’s been great, mostly at the beach and being with trustworthy people, for example my eldest sister, but at home I haven’t done it, except when I’m alone. Having conservative parents sucks and I fear they might take my nieces/nephews away from me if they don’t like how I am because they still think I’m 100% woman when I’m not. But hopefully that’ll change for better in the future, people need to normalize chest exposure, no matter what your gender is, as long as it is your choice. Big hugs to you all!!!! ❤️🥰💋

Questioning whether I'm agender or genderfluid, and I get very stressed when I go swimming (because I'm 12 and don't have a binder) and for a very long time I used like 3 sports bras and it was hella noticeable, so this was helpful to know that there's tape I can use to make my chest flat. it's probably better for my body if I used tape too edit: lol so I'm 15 now and it turns out I'm neither genderfluid or agender, but just ftm. happy 2 say I bought myself a normal binder a few months ago that's fine to wear in water [from gc2b], so swimming is no longer a stresser for me :) . I hope everyone else who's still struggling can find an easy and compatible option [and just for reference, most binders are fine in water bc of the material they're mad of, but make sure to do ur own research b4 assuming anything lmao]

Yeah just make sure your binding safely one thing I can’t stress enough is don’t use duct tape or bandages/ace bandages. Those are gonna hurt and be damaging. Have fun swimming and try not to worry too much

Kai Is a Trash Can But be careful if you’re using those commercially bought mermaid fins, as people get stuck them and little kids have drowned in them
@Ozpex
@Ozpex 6 жыл бұрын
Llyre, I did quite a bit of research before buying my tail. Don't worry, it does not use a commercially advertised fin and I'm pretty sure I'm old enough to know how to not drown and how to get out of the tail if there were to be an emergency. Thanks for the advice though.

My gosh, Kovu, I am so envious of your chest. You’re so small, you don’t even need a big binder to look like a guy. I’m younger than you by a few years and my chest is already too big to bind enough to look flat (T-T) Does anyone have any tips on how to cover bigger chests? I want to swim without worrying.

Oh wow. I was not expecting a reply from the company! I will definitely check that link, but I’m curious to know how flat it actually makes you look. Sorry, don’t mean to sound all snooty disbelieving, it’s just that I’ve never been able to bind my chest tight enough to look like a boy without suffocating, so this seems too good to be true. Thank you!

Your question is very valuable, "how to cover a big chest?" and "how flat it is?". I believe there are more people has the same question but didn't ask, therefore I'm really thank you for asking questions. We have many customers in Taiwan with the bigger chest and has feedback, they are satisfied with the result. I will upload more photos of before/after of our swimsuits. Could you add my WhatsApp +886953740085, I can send you some photo/video.
