Sorry for your loss bud. Neat of you to inherit these. Looks very similar to my dad's collection he gave me when I was a young boy that sparked my interested 25 years ago. I decided to finish the blue whittman album of lincoln cents that my dad and grandfather started when he was a kid. They didn't have many of coins in there an none of the key dates. I took the leisure to complete it within the blue album and will cherish that item forevs. Take care bud!
@jadonnoble56217 ай бұрын
Thank you! That’s awesome! I might go on ahead and at least complete one of his albums. I have a lot of the coins for many of the sets but they are all graded. It would definitely be cool to complete a few of the sets for him:)
@silversurfer19867 ай бұрын
@@jadonnoble5621 ya totally. I did just that but the key dates bought in slabs and left them in slabs. Nonetheless the set is complete. I assumed and believe your gave many of the cent keys already. Should t be too much work to finish the random missing holes. Take care bro

I like how the 1916 D Mercury in the book has a pull out cardboard piece that states "rare".
@jadonnoble56217 ай бұрын
Yep! That’s cool that they acknowledge how rare the 1916 d Mercury Dime is. I need to get one for my collection tbh.

Great video. Condolences on the loss of your grandfather. The coin at 12:51 is Russian. The reverse says the "1878 year", "3 kopecks" (1 Russian ruble contains 100 kopecks). The letters are "S.P.B." for St Petersbug mint mark.The obverse says "Russian copper coin" "Three kopecks". The obverse design is the coat of arms of Russia, a two headed eagle with 9 nine shields and a scepter and orb. In the middle a horseman slays a serpent, the symbolic victory of good over evil in defence of the Russian motherland.

@Jadon Noble May a 5 centimes from France. The K stands for the Mint Bordeaux. The word centimes is french for cents.

Not a South Korean coin.. The Double Headed Eagle was a Byzantine motif on coins.. Holy Roman Empire used it.. German states / Austria / Poland / Russia / plus others used the Double Headed Eagle emblem on coinage.
