Typical of other team fans and the media to start piling on Lopetegui, we are only a few games into the season, people have to give it time, a lot of these players have only played in the premier league under Moyes so they are very entrenched in that style of football so the squad and the manager need time to develop the tactics. So easy for people to pile onto Lopetegui and ask say we shouldn’t have got rid of Moyes.

What annoys me is people were optimistic 5 games ago and now it’s all doom and gloom. We played Man City one of those games as well. Football is so fickle, he has a plethora of new players, Todibo hasn’t even played yet, and it takes time. I want us to be winning but the current football fans quick judgement of things when you aren’t winning is so annoying. Have to be patient and give the manager time because no one was saying he didn’t know anything prior to his appointment

5 games in, too early to judge. We lost 5-0 to fulham and 5-2 at palace last year. This year we got a 1-1 and 2-0 win. 3 losses against man city, villa and Chelsea, hardly a disaster.

I agree, I have been saying this ever since we were linked with Lop. Moyes had totally got the tactics right against Seville in that second leg. I was also at the match in Seville when we had narrowly lost 1-0. At the final whistle their team and bench were celebrating as if they had won the whole competition!

Do me a favour, their are worst teams. Let's get some perspective, West Ham have lost to Man City, narrowly to Aston Villa and a Chelsea side that are very much improved and had similar problems to West Ham a season or two ago. Outside the top 10 West Ham have beaten Palace away and drawn with Fulham (who just recently beat Newcastle). West Ham will rally and finish around 10th place - not a great season but an OK one.

They do. I see the starting line up on Saturday and was pleased but I had one reservation and that was Mavropanos playing. I am not convinced by Mavropanos and most of the goals on Saturday where unfortunately down to him playing a high line. If you don't have the pace don't play a high line simples really. I would like to see Todibo start at CB and Mavropanos dropped.

Lopetegui at Sevilla and Real Madrid had a goals per 90 lower than Moyes had at West Ham. It was an absurd appointment and frankly was absurd to get rid of Moyes. He was literally their best manager arguably ever considering how few cups they have won and having never won a league title yet they wanted him gone. All they did was replace him with the worse Spanish version.

Moyes is such a good manager he's still unemployed. That higher goals per 90 stat was so good that we are not in Europe and were in a relegation battle a couple of seasons ago. Not to mention our poor form in the last 6 months of the previous season. Pay attention to your own team.
