Omg the anxiety meds questions gave me such second hand medical frustration. I can’t tell you how often a dental hygienist or other non mental health professional quizzes me about my antidepressants. Drives me bananas.

Joanna, you DO have great teeth! OMG the dentist was funny about Cymbalta. My doctor recommended Cymbalta for me because of my anxiety and my Fibromyalgia. That was like 3 weeks ago. I havent started taking it yet because I am too chicken. I read the side affects........I shouldn't have!! 😮

I used to work at my mom’s dental office. Maybe since you’re a new patient, they had to do a comprehensive oral exam which takes longer then your regular visits. Hopefully it won’t be like that every time now that you’re an established patient.

The dental office I work for that is one of the best here in cincinnati is like that. But they definitely should have told that you wouldn't get a cleaning until you were an established patient. So sorry about your experience!
