i really hope you don't make the habit of teaching songs,the internet needs not any more song tutorials, this one is an obvious exception

Right on! I think the theory/technique will always be the bread and butter here. Eventually I'll do a song every now and then because they can be great examples to illustrate points, but for the most part that probably won't be my main thing (with the exception of my own stuff)

maybe instead of tutorials, do song analysis, like harmonic analyse, or exploring the phrasing of the melody, smart use of technique ... etc, that's more musical IMO than how to play a song
