I have tried a LOT of edc lights. This is hands down my favorite. Had mine for a few months now. Simple. Tons of throw. Perfect size and comfortable to carry. Battery charges fast and I only need to charge it about once a week. I use it a lot too.

Idk about it being a great EDC . I bought one from them that casts the amber light , and i do mean amber, not warm white , but amber. I bought that color because I don't always want to see bright colored light . But anyway , I've had it for about 4 years. I only use it around the house. It's been good . My only complaint would be that i wish the tail cap button was recessed.

How it would be if compared beam with nitecore mt2a....?

The T1 Pro Tac has higher candela while the MT2A Pro has more lumens in the highest mode. Practically speaking, the T1 Pro Tac has more throw - meaning a greater beam distance - than the MT2A Pro, but the MT2A Pro emits more light overall in the highest mode - the beam just doesn't travel as far and the light is not as condensed into the center of the beam. The T1 Pro Tac has about 4,500 more candela than the MT2A Pro. Hope this helps! -Jay

I just don't get a 'tac' light being a thrower. Shouldn't a tac light ignite the threat directly in front of you? If I was alarmed and slapped this on the threat I suspect I would get an intense view if the attackers shirt pocket instead of his whole person. Nice mini search light but not a tac light imo. Give me this in flood and I would snatch it up for sure. Like the form factor for sure.

Needs a low minimum + strobe....i understand its tack so the high will always come on. ...high + strobe with the click obviously high first click haft click strobe......for those self defense moments... and low and minimum with a rotating ring on the head of light....strong and sturdy ring of course.......and ta da... that would make this the perfect light....your welcome...😊
