Thanks Adriana! Yes Gojek is so handy, now that cars are sooo slow all too often. I hope you're well there.

Wow! Seems so cheap to travel there in Bali. Wish we could have that system here in Japan. Thanks for posting such handy info for everyone.

Hello Kyushu Journeys! Yes it is really cheap, for both motorbikes and cars--I'm not sure how we made it without Gojek and Grab years ago! I didn't even get into Go-food delivery, I think that deserves another video, stay tuned and thanks so much for your comment.

When I tried using Uber in Bali, the locals got peeved off as they see it as their income right. My issue with taxis beyond the traffic jams are for a tourist the drivers want their weejly earnings in one job, there is an assumption most tourists are rich. However, when I rerurn to Bali hopefully this year is Gojak user friendly in regardr to locals not minding it? My biggest frustration is transport. Cheers for your info

Hi Donna and thanks for your comment! Yeah the only taxi one should ever take in Bali is Bluebird, but nowadays Grab car or Go Car-- the car services offered by Grab & Go Jek respectively-- is cheaper than Bluebird taxis and very reliable. Exactly as you say it is tricky as you go further out with Go Jek and Grab, it's true. A good strategy if you can is to find a hotel with an entrance or even a restaurant where you can sit while you wait for the motorcycle or car to arrive. But you're right it's definitely less "political intrigue" in using Grab and Gojek in the more crowded tourist areas, where people don't seem to care.
