Hello Tom, Great video ! Which area do you suggest to spend New Year's Eve in Bali ? If possible, near convenience stores, food street markets and easy way to go around the island. Thank you so much.
@Wagefreedom
@Wagefreedom 10 ай бұрын
Hi Antonio! Well, New Year's Eve itself needs its own approach lol, because the traffic is quite *amazing*. However, with a little planning, this is actually no big deal. Here's how you do it. You just can't expect to be driving around on New Year's. But beach clubs, hotels, and restaurants all have packages that you can buy for the whole night, and that's the way to do it on New Year's In Bali. Pick a place, and you're set. Another option is to go to the beach, because from Kuta all the way up to Seminyak and beyond it's one big party on the sand on New Year's Eve. It has to be said, there's often rain on New Year's Eve. So that's the risk you take if your plan is to be partying on the beach. Anyway, the point is that there are easy ways around the NYE traffic in Bali and in my opinion, everybody should experience New Year's Eve in Bali at least once! I hope that helps Antonio.

My wife and i have been in Bali last year from end september till about the 20 oktober 2022. The first three days it was very nice weather but from than we have got allmost every day rain from around 13-14 hours in the afternoon . Sometimes very heavy rain . I can tell you it was absolutely not nice . We could do every morning some outside trips but allmost never in the afternoon . We where not in Bali to sit inside at coffeeshops our restaurants , we wanted to be outside in the beautiful nature of Bali what was not possible in the afternoon . No for us that was very disappointing. Only the four days when we where on the Nusa islands it was good weather and in the beginning of our vacation. All the rest rain, rain rain . We had totaly other expectations of Bali and it was even not rainy saison yet.

Hi Tom, can you make an update about costs of living in 2022 forward - especially how do you see inflation overall affecting this part of the world (It is a big topic in Europe and the US atm). Thanks a lot in advance! Great channel, your opinion is very valuable to a lot of people, especially because you are not the stereotypical „Instagram Influencer“ type.

Thanks so much Tom for this video! I‘m coming to bali with my familiy in october this year for 6-8 month and to be honest I had a few conserns because of the rainy season. Could you give me a good advice concerning accomodation? We‘re a familiy of 4. Our budget is around 7-10 mil/month. It would be great to have a place with 2 bdr and a (shared) pool. Thanks a lot and keep up the good work! 👍💪🏻

Hi….Excellent video wage. I need some details, I am planning to travel to Bali with my wife during December 5th to 10th. I am coming from India for my 1st anniversary. Should I be worry about rains? I am very excited about the trip, will there be any chances that my money will be wasted? Thanks in advance.
@Wagefreedom
@Wagefreedom 2 жыл бұрын
Hi Malladi-- well in December there will probably be rain, and there's no point in me saying otherwise. However, it's not like an Indian monsoon. The pattern--generally, on the southwest coast in places like Seminyak and Canggu--is rain later in the day and at night, with bright sunshine for hours earlier in the day. If it rains earlier in the day it will often clear up and a few hours later be sunny. An exception to this pattern is when there is a storm, in which case you will have a few days of pretty consistent rain with onshore winds that can make the beach no fun. These storms seem more common (to me anyway) in January/Feb. The season also varies quite a bit too. Sometimes the rain starts in September, and a few years ago we had hardly any rain until January. I will say this, and I think I did say it in this video: if you're in a nice place where you can chill out until the rain passes, there is a real beauty to Bali in the rainy season. It's even more lush and green, and unless you're intent on getting out and going places a lot, it's a very nice setting in which to slow down. Anyway, I hope that helps. You can easily be in for hours of bright sunshine each day, but if there's a storm when you come it might be wetter than you hoped. Good luck there.

God loves you so much that He sent His Holy Son Jesus from heaven to earth, to be born of a virgin, to grow up and die on a cross for our sins, and to be put into a tomb 3 days and rise from the dead the third day, and He (Jesus) went back up to heaven. We must receive Sinless Jesus sincerely to be God's child(John 1:12).After we get saved by grace through faith in Christ, if we truly love the Lord Jesus Christ, then we will obey Jesus(John 14:15). Mark 1:15 "And saying, the time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: Repent ye, and believe the gospel." Jesus said in John 14:15 "If you love Me, keep My commandments. "There's a real hell. It says in Revelation 21:8 "But for the cowardly, & unbelieving, & abominable, & murderers, and immoral persons and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone..." Please sincerely receive Holy Jesus and put your true faith and trust in Him today and please repent.

Hi Tom, so glad I watched your video. I was planning to book my 50th birthday trip to Bali this week. I did not know of all the restriction and the quarantine rules. My question is should I book this week or wait a few months or even go somewhere else and come back in 2023. Thanks in advance and lovely video please do keep us posted. Andrew from the UK
@Wagefreedom
@Wagefreedom 3 жыл бұрын
Hi Andrew and you're welcome. Not sure what month your birthday is in, but the thing about booking right now is that the visa on arrival (VOA), which is normally used for visits of a week or two, is not yet being issued. The way things stand now you could apply and come on the b211 business visa, but you'll have to apply before you arrive. Of course there's a chance that the visa on arrival will start being issued again sooner rather than later, everybody certainly hopes so, but there's no word on when it will happen. As I said in the video I guess the authorities are waiting to see if the numbers stay down thru the possibility of this next wave. It's a lot of uncertainty I know. In the next few months I don't know how likely it is frankly that the VOA will be issued again. I wish I had more for you! Good luck there Andrew.
