I find it interesting how these two are exact opposites of each other. The Legendary Godzilla is the guardian of the Earth, he keeps the planet stable and prevents creatures that would generate overpopulation like the MUTOS from wiping out the planet, of course very much for his own survival, and he can eventually decide that humanity is a threat and to destroy for the good of the planet. Meanwhile the Shin Godzilla is an abomination created by humanity that will not stop evolving and growing, it will keep evolving, when it is broken it will multiply and will not stop until it has nothing more to be destroyed, creating an overpopulation of monsters that would end everything and maybe even themselves.

I think it comes down to if Legend wants to pursue a losing battle. Shin will eventually get to the point that it can easily overtake Legend, and we have to wonder if Legend will accept this and move on or fight to the death. Nah nah nah legendary would win easily. Shing odzilla' fuels its evolution using radiation. its why that it stops evolving and is defeated when its forced to stop its biology to survive. Essentailly in its normal state shin godzilla would just be freely rdaioactive, something godzilla can take advantage of by absorbing its radiation which would retard its self evolution and, ultimately, would lead to it being killed unless shin godzilla adapts by isolating its radiation levels and storing it. This would sitll completely retard the evolutionary process though and legendary godzilla would overcome him and kill him, likely devouring his radiation afterwards. This would ultimately kill shin godzilla as legendary would make the remaining flesh unable to metabolize and generate radiation, make it unable t ocontinue t oevolve, and thus just die for good.

The thing is, while we DON'T know what Shin Godzilla would evolve into to counter Legendary Godzilla, we DO know that Legendary Godzilla is absurdly intelligent and a very good tactician in battle, which can make all the difference here. SUPPOSING he observes that Shin Godzilla tends to overheat after deploying its nuclear beams and has to shut down for a while and supposing he observes Shin Godzilla's extreme regenerative abilities, it stands to reason that Legendary Godzilla would figure out exactly what we realized: that the only way to KILL it is to destroy the entire thing in one go. That being the case, Legendary Godzilla would be capable of finding a way to accomplish that. Let's remember that Shin Godzilla is NOT invincible to damage from heat or weapons - he adapts to them but the answer to missile attacks that penetrated and hurt it was to fire beams that knocked the drones out of the sky, NOT to become better armored, so it stands to reason that its answer to Legendary Godzilla's relentless and brutal pummeling would MOST LIKELY be similar - to develop more countermeasures to try to keep him at bay. This is not an intelligent creature - in fact it's really pretty mindless - so it's playing go fish while Legendary Godzilla is playing advanced chess. NOW, we do know that Legendary Godzilla has the ability to VERY rapidly absorb enormous amounts of radiation which can 1. allow him to regenerate faster, 2. Allow him to GROW in size and strength (as seen in King of the Monsters) and 3. Allow him to CHANNEL that power to attack with a nuclear pulse. Note that Mothra's sacrifice is NOT needed to use the pulse - the only thing THAT did was to STABILIZE Godzilla as his nuclear core was going crazy and going into meltdown state (we don't actually know for sure if Godzilla would have actually been killed if meltdown had occurred, however). HOWEVER if you ARE taking Shin Godzilla into consideration AFTER the adaptation that allowed him to fire beams from the dorsal plates and tail, then you ALSO have to use Legendary Godzilla AFTER the Mothra sacrifice just to make sure you're using the strongest CURRENT form for each. Godzilla CAN at that point absorb MORE radiation, grow further AND use nuclear pulse. It need not be from an atomic bomb - that's more of a jump start to a car - the only REASON the nuke became a problem was because he absorbed ALL of that point blank AFTER having had the oxygen destroyer used on him which had effectively sapped his body of its normal ability to tolerate such things (after all, in 1954 humanity dropped a massive nuke on Legendary Godzilla very nearby to him and it did NOT kill him at all OR make him go nuclear critical - the Castle Bravo nuke would CERTAINLY have had a bigger yield than the tiny one used at point blank in King of the Monsters) - had he NOT just taken the Oxygen Destroyer to the face (which had KILLED Godzilla in the original 1954 film, proving how much more sturdy this version is) he wouldn't have NEEDED Mothra's sacrifice to absorb the nuclear radiation from the bomb without going into critical mode. What this MEANS is that Godzilla can observe Shin Godzilla's regeneration and adaptive abilities, use that intelligent mind of his and quickly work out that it is imperative that he destroys the ENTIRE thing NOW rather than let the battle drag on. Legendary Godzilla CAN use the pulse - and what's more, since he ABSORBS radiation and uses it as fuel, that ALSO means he can absorb Shin Godzilla's radiation - possibly directly from the nuclear beam which IS condensed nuclear plasma. That leaves the question: can Legendary Godzilla emit enough destructive heat energy with is pulse to DESTROY the body of Shin Godzilla entirely? Honestly? Probably. He destroyed King Ghidorah (aside from one head, and keep in mind he would learn from this experience to destroy EVERYTHING next time) using the pulse and if you watch that scene, he is emitting SO MUCH heat while in that "burning godzilla" state that solid steel structures some distance away are MELTING as if someone were holding a 2,000 degree blowtorch to a stick of butter. That indicates - in order to melt that rapidly - that Legendary Godzilla is capable of emitting heat that reaches into the millions of degrees - we're talking the temperature you'd expect in parts of the SUN in order to melt steel from that distance that QUICKLY just by being in the general area. Shin Godzilla's skin is tough but NOTHING organic is going to survive that kind of heat, which is precisely what happened with Ghidorah - he literally just evaporated away right before your eyes DESPITE having been proven to be able to easily withstand the most powerful weapons humanity had to offer with NO damage whatsoever. If Legendary Godzilla were dumber he might give Shin enough time and enough chances to evolve into something he couldn't beat, but this version of Godzilla is human-like in its intelligence. He even CHUCKLED when he hit Kong with his beam and saw him fall - which demonstrates that there is a calculating and pretty vicious mind in there. Not only that, he INSTANTLY recognized that Kong's axe was made from a Godzilla dorsal plate, could absorb energy and deal more damage after only seeing it used against him ONCE - and in the middle of battle realized he could arm Kong to defeat Mechagodzilla by hitting that axe head with his beam. This demonstrates the ability to plan ahead and execute strategic moves in battle in a way many HUMANS wouldn't be able to. If he can figure that out that quickly, he can definitely figure out the way in which he needs to defeat Shin Godzilla to make his death permanent after only seeing him regenerate/ evolve once, twice at most. I don't think one or two evolutions would be enough for Shin to become completely immune to Legendary's power so....I'd give the battle to him. ESPECIALLY if there is a nuclear reactor nearby to drain of power for a super charge.

Aside from that, the required biological behavior to somehow take control of a creature is something completely different to develop , and there isn't really any pressure toward developing such an ability. I’m actually not too sure how Legendary would react in regarded to Shins supposed defiance, since unlike Ghidorah or Kong who actively challenged him to the end, Shin is relatively, … unresponsive. Assuming after the end of phase 1 we get a scene similar to in GvK where Legendary is attempting to establish dominance once more, it would probably go similar to what happened vs Kong since even though Shin would likely be unresponsive, Legendary might consider this to be enough since Shin isn’t in a position to fight him again immediatly. But if Shin isn’t completely depleted in this state and attempts to fire while downed then Legendary might just turn around and blast it full force. So really I think this depends a lot of how the fight starts off and how depleted Shin ends up in the very likely scenario it is physically overpowered initially.

The one thing I would mention in the match-up is Shin's inherent handicap, he is more based in reality than Legendary is. Even in the film they state that it shouldn't be able to leave the water due to it's size and crush under it's own weight, but due to it's unique makeup, some part of it's physiology gets around this. It's movement even alludes to this; slow, plodding, and deliberate. All of it's attacks are therefore also highly effective, nothing is wasted. The phase array also lends to this idea. a massive factor overlooked is stamina, LG has shown to have quite an impressive amount of stamina as seen in his final fight between Kong and Mecha-Godzilla. He can be seen starting the fight at night and it all ending by morning meaning that he would've been fighting for several hours (and this isn't even taking into account the damage he took or how he had to fight two opponents back to back.) Where as Shin was seen going dormant after using his atomic breath a lot which would mean that its mentality isn't to fight smart but to just throw whatever it can at its foe, and based on LG stats alone it would most likely throw everything it has at him since it wouldn't be effective up close. Lastly I believe the moment Shin uses all its energy and goes dormant one of two things would happen. 1. LG would thing its dead and leave or it would sense that it is still alive and attack until nothing is left. Quick side note, i noticed that people kept bringing up the fact that LG would absorb the radiation coming from Shin, so if it were to go dormant to regenerate its atomic energy, would having LG close by slow down that process or even halt it all together. Last note This was posted before I watched the rematch video
@Kyle-gu3ge Жыл бұрын
The thing is shin doesn't have a fight mentality. It's doing what it can to defend itself while being in constant excruciating pain. Even using its atomic breath puts it in a lot of pain. The whole point of shin is he is evolving so fast that his body is tearing itself apart faster than he can heal, hence the constant pain.

I think they could have used more thought when analyzing Shin Godzilla’s atomic breath. They took the initial development, the evolution of it, as the process of it using it instead of looking at how it uses it later, where it pulls it out in an instant because it knows how to use it now.

Little mistake that I want to point: Shin Godzilla doesn't need time to charge fully his Atomic Breath. Shin's evolution is fueled by the atomic reaction that's constantly going on inside it, Legendary feeds on radiation and regenerates faster while feeding, making Shin essentially an all you can eat buffet for Legendary, that alone gives the edge to Legendary, as he would be able to siphon off radiation to both slow/halt regeneration and prevent further evolution.

Shin's charge up time is only for the first usage of the ability since he is just adapting, all follow up beams were fired quickly and consecutively. Also, if I remembered correctly, in the initial sketch of Shin Godzilla, one of it future (ultimate?) form, Shin would have an entire galaxy or universe growing inside it to use as energy (this is from the guy who made Evangelion after all). Hence the "Shin = New/True/God" in Shin Godzilla. Remember in the fight against MechaGodzilla, the A-74 Proton Scream hurt LG and even overpowered LG's own atomic breath (Albeit, this was a weakened LG). If Shin's beam is more powerful than that, LG would very well die after tanking the heat and power of it for a short duration. LG only feeds off/absorbs radiation, but if concentrated enough, it can still hurt him. Now Shin also shuts down after using his beam(s) and can also only use them for a few seconds. If LG can survive the initial damage, there is now a stationary hyper-nuclear Shin standing right in front of him. LG would sense that Shin is still alive and he wouldn't walk away but continue his attack. In the case of that scenario, that's the only way I could see LG absorbing a meaningful amount of radiation from Shin. LG goes thermonuclear after that, and atomic pulses Shin to ash.

There’s no “or shin evolving to a point legend can’t beat it” Goji center has already established that godzilla would definitely win the initial fight against shin and would be injured after it. these 3 scenarios are very likely to happen after the battle. 1. Godzilla is injured and decides to feed off of shin Godzilla’s insane amount of radiation, which heals his wound, powers him up, and possibly could turn him into burning Godzilla which he would incinerate shin Godzilla if he still sees him as a threat. Either way he’s still gonna melt even if Godzilla doesn’t attack. 2. Godzilla notices that the creature that he just fought and “killed” is still emitting radiation and biofeedback, he then process’s it as a threat as kaiju’s could be attracted to this area and feed on shin Godzilla which would be bad cause they would be powered up and could possibly defeat Godzilla. Or he notices it that it’s still alive and thinks that it’s a kaiju with regenerative property’s, either way in both situations godzilla blasts him. 3. Godzilla leaves the body, and other kaiju run towards a meal. Now shin has to fight multiple kaiju as these kaiju see him as a gigantic meal/ source of radiation.

Shins biomass mutates into its own sentient form if separated due to it's "G-cells". There is a Deleted Scene in Shin where, upon finding a piece of Shins flesh that's been blasted off, they see that it's growing eyes, teeth, and limbs, like a tumorous mass; they ultimately thought this might be too disturbing for people to conceive of as being connected to what they think of as Godzilla and too far removed from the "Godzilla Franchise", so kept the ideas but didn't include the scene. It's pretty damn creepy. There's actually a ton of cut content from Shin that goes into tons of detail of it's past, biology, and what it was originally intended to become. Given a different scenario, it would've become a Universe unto itself; in the film, it's revealed in the end that Shin starts evolving to mimic and replace Humans as an entire Species based on it's encounters with us. Shin was originally going to be much, much more.... horrifying, to say the least, based on concept art and storyboards.

Considering Legendary Goji feeds on Radiation, and Shin creates and maintains radiation as its driving force of energy, literally becoming inert when depleted.... Then once Legendary kills Shin, wouldn't he just feed off the radiation? Its there and free for the taking. And with its energy already low from the battle, Legendary feeding off whatever is left would just leave Shin completely powerless to adapt or regenerate. Killing him for good. As he cannot evolve with his radiation depleted or blocked. Even if Legendary leaves the battle site, we see in the monsterverse comics that many of the other Titans are VERY opportunistic about sources of radiation. Scylla even briefly challenged Godzilla over a radiation source squabble when she had just submitted to him at the end of KOTM. After the fight I don't see Shin surviving long enough to power back up enough to evolve further. Whether or not Legendary feeds on Shin's lingering radiation to help heal his own wounds as he used to in his lair, or other titans come and scavenge on him, Shin is likely to become a feeding ground for the Titans. The Muto's themselves use a very similar method, abet via as a parasite rather than direct predation. And many other Titans have builds that suggest that when their kind were plentiful, predation was a very likely source of radiation intake. Legendary Godzilla is described as an alpha Predator for a reason.

It's not like in anime where characters transform at will. It has to have a reason or something done to it to evolve and it's evolution is relatively grounded or makes some sense when you look into it.

Glad you actually considered Shin's adaptability. Too many times people just assume MV Godzilla would destroy Shin and be done, and also completely disregard his adaptability entirely. Sure, if we're talking strictly Shin's 4th form as seen and nothing else, then MV Godzilla would win. However, if we actually take Shin Godzilla as a whole, it's not that simple. Shin can't be killed by normal means, and whilst MV may have the majority of stats, that's not everything. Not everything is as simple as "who has the most boxes filled, and whoever does wins". In scenarios like this that's not the case, especially when the opponents main gimmick is to litteraly change themself to combat what's infront of them. W vid

You mentioned Ghidorah but he also had to figure out how to get into the position to vaporise him in the first place. I think he knew from the Antarctic fight to keep on top of him and overpower him with brute force, he just didn't have the means to until he went nuclear. And he beat Kong by switching tactics and not relying on his breath, instead matching Kong for speed while matching it with an overwhelming and relentless brutality that Kong just couldn't cope with. The moment I saw this pair up, I knew it wasn’t going to be a Legendary Goji win. Shin is… horrifying to comprehend. The only reason it *could* be stopped in it’s movie is because there wasn’t another monster forcing it to evolve in ways that would enhance it’s speed and melee abilities. Shin is, eventually, less a monster that must be defeated and more an extinction event that must be delayed permanently. Legendary Goji having the tendency to leave something behind of his enemy’s corpse, intentionally or not, has already bitten him on the tail once. Without Kong’s interference Mecha Godzilla absolutely would’ve killed him. As mentioned, the same thing happens here. You can technically defeat Shin, but unless you’re very careful you can not actually *kill* him. And what doesn’t kill him only makes him stronger. Even with some misunderstandings (the charge up time being from inexperience, not a natural limitation, etc.) it… just doesn’t matter. Shin keeps coming until you find a silver bullet he hasn’t adapted to yet.

Not only is he frozen but because the reactor is shut down entirely, he can't "restart" until he receives a sizeable injection to kickstart his bio reactor, since a cold fusion start is still several evolutions away.

not very valid arguments. Legendary makes sure they are dead when he leaves them behind, considering he knows the status and location of kaiju at all times it wouldnt be surprising if legendary found out he wasnt actually dead soon, also legendary was fighting a robot designed to counter him in a lot of ways, while having just left a fight that lasted hours with kong and using his beam to blow a hole through earth miles down. its a very one sided fight, because its unfair to shin
@AzureGhidorah Жыл бұрын
@@titanusgodzillaa4274 MechaGodzilla’s very existence proves that Legendary can fail to finish the job *even* when he knows what to do and how to do it. Without the Ghidorah head Legendary tore off in the second encounter MechaGodzilla would’ve never come into existence. Legendary didn’t go find the head and destroy it because his senses pinged Ghidorah as Dead. And with only a chunk like that left over, Shin would obviously shut down to the point where he would ping ‘dead’ as well. Further more, in the MechaG battle Legendary was very clearly losing it because of his battle with Kong earlier. If Kong and him hadn’t set aside their differences, MechaG absolutely would’ve killed one or both of them before he was disabled by the humans. Back to the Ghidorah head for a moment. The head was torn off in that encounter because Legendary believed it a viably critical wound. It was only when he came to the third encounter and saw Ghidorah had shrugged that off with ease that he went ‘okay, need Burning Earth tactics. *Leave Nothing Behind*.’ Legendary can easily make that same mistake here, tearing something off because he thinks ‘this thing is a malformed version of my own species, this is a severe and possibly delayed-deadly blow.’ That’s all Shin needs to starfish a new body to fight Legendary with again. And Shin is not constrained in his evolution and adaptation, so his fifth form would be a bio-style MechaGodzilla on steroids that also out masses Legendary the same way Ghidorah did. At that point, even if Legendary somehow defeated Fifth Form Shin again, he would be so battered and wounded that he would be unable to go Burning Earth on him. You have to get it right the first time with Shin. And that means knowing how he works from the moment you engage. This is information Legendary *doesn’t have* until it’s too late.

@@AzureGhidorah well what you said was not true. Godzilla didnt get to destroy the head for different reasons, most importantly is that the head is actually dead, its just able to signals after being decapitated, that said godzilla rightfully thought ghidorah was dead, because he was, the head would not have done anything had it not been for the company that started using it as a mind for mechagodzilla, but it was still dead. Mechagodzilla was made to combat each of godzillas strong points, yes, but he was only winning against godzilla because godzilla had literally just fought kong for hours wasting his energy and recieving damage from the fight, and he blew a hole threw earth which caused his beam to be depleted considerably, using mechagodzilla as a point as to why he wouldnt win against shin doesn't really mnake much sense since they both would use much different tactics to go against legendary, also the director said had godzilla not been tired and was healthy and full of energy, the fight wouldve been in favor of mecha. Shin genuinly would be taken care of within the first minutes of seeing legendary. Legendary WOULD know that he is not dead soon after shin was down. Godzilla would also most likely not decapitate shin like he did to ghidorah. he would probably use his beam more than melee. Also shin is literally an animal that has so much radiation to the point that it would probably even HELP legendary in the fight, if he gets too much energy where he is about to explode then thats even better, because thanks to mothra he can now release energy in a way which wont kill him.

The critical factor to keep in mind with Shin is that using his atomic abilities-especially the dorsal rays-basically cooks him. He expends a ton of energy, which makes him overheat very quickly, and he has to shut down almost immediately in order to regain his energy and return to a functional temperature. If he has a critical shutdown due to overusing his AB/AR in the midst of this battle, he’s a sitting duck. Legendary could rip him apart with little to no resistance. Of course, if he doesn’t go thermonuclear and scorch Shin’s remains from the earth then and there, Shin could regenerate Tomie-style. But by that point, considering the potential evolutionary track taken to counter Legendary in the intern, I feel like Shin would no longer be a “Godzilla,” or even a GINO. He would be a different kaiju at that point. Legendary, on the other hand, can rapid-fire his AB. He’s more than capable of a sustained blast, but we also see him go full turret against Kong in their final battle. As a side note, it also seems like MV may have a secondary method of breathing while he’s letting off these extended shots. His lungs are immense, sure, but even he can’t hold his breath forever. So maybe he uses his gills while he’s shooting off the AB for more a few seconds. Speaking of the gills, those seems to be the only part of him vulnerable to human bombs. He barely notices any bullets or blasts in G14 until someone hits his gills, which is when he flails and roars in pain.

It's also important to realize Shin can be damaged really easily. His body is rapidly decaying, and while it evolves quickly, that doesn't mean it heals just as fast. Legendary Goji is very tanky, but we've seen basic artillery burst chunks of Shins flesh off, though not always to beneficial effect for humans. Legendary also seems to get stronger when hit by nuclear or atomic energy, and the only thing that really hurt him extremely bad was the oxygen destroyer. There's no telling if Shin's beams would harm him as badly as people think.

Legendary just has too many advantages over Shin: superior Strength, Atomic breath, durability, speed and experience. However, Shin beats Legendary in terms of healing and coupled with adaptation. Pieces of him were threatning to turn into other Godzillas when given time, which was a literal plot point in the movie. Considering Legendary doesn't usually destroy his enemies' corpses and just leaves, it's possible he could make the mistake of not scorchig Shin's mauled body, allowing it to grow and adapt to become something that will come back to bite Legendary's ass. . Yes, But the main problem is that Shin feeds on nuclear wastes rather than radiation that's why after heavy use of energy it goes into hibernation for almost 2 weeks. But, if Shin would absorb radiation then it wouldn't need to hibernate and those evolutions would make it a very strong Godzilla. If it reaches its 8th or 10th stage then it might be able to defeat even Godzilla Earth.

I think it really just depends on how quickly legendary can figure out Shin’s strengths. Legendary is obviously more intelligent, so i think in a longer fight, legendary could figure it out and win. But if legendary never figures out that he needs to incinerate the entire creature, then he’s definitely going to lose.

That was interesting. While Legendary has a clear stat advantage, the fact that Shin’s biology is just unknown and unnatural was a way that it could counter Legendary. There would be no clear winner here, but if I had to choose, I would say legendary because of its faster speed and intelligence, it would have to probably have to fire its atomic breath down Shin’s throat. I agree with this showdown because whenever shin Godzilla gets hurt his pain receptors send a message to the brain to evolve so it’s less likely to get hurt again, another factor for him is that whenever he evolves legendary Godzilla will not stop as his motivation is “fight to the death” he won’t run away he’ll just see shin as a bigger target ,shin Godzilla will get showered by both melee and blast weaponry , it will keep evolving due to how Godzilla won’t leave the fight unless he is the victor ,shin Godzilla will only keep evolving it’ll take Titanus Gojira some time to understand his strange anatomy and by the time he does it would probably be too late Edit: I meant to put this in the second part, but my point is Godzilla as we know him prefers to humiliate his enemies than end them instantly , this thought will get him killed because shin Godzilla can be defeated by Godzilla thanks to his superior strategy but it won’t be enough to kill him , his arrogant nature won’t pay off he’ll die due to giving shin enough time to evolve to something even he can’t stop. I am not trying to downplay Godzilla , if Godzilla manages to not humiliate his enemy and end shin I strongly believe that legendary Godzilla can absolutely destroy shin if they are up close , if not then he will have a messier fight on his hands but if he doesn’t let shin evolve then legendary will be the victor .

This is the first one I disagree with because the healing is so fast there is no way legendary wouldn't notice what was happening and just leave it. On top of that it's not exactly like legendary isn't used to fighting opponents with insane healing factors that have to be completely disintegrated. He did just that thing with Ghidorah.
@Codemaster92163 Жыл бұрын
It really depends on how quickly or efficiently Legendary deals with Shin. If he doesn't immediately kill Shin after their first confrontation, it's almost certainly a win for Shin. So it really depends on his arrogance and pride at that particular moment. Anything anyone says that Legendary will counter Shin with, Shin will just adapt to negate that weakness when he gets the chance. Which is why any fight that doesn't end ASAP will just lead to Shin's victory

Legendary wins because 1, He absorbs radiation, which Shin emits and needs and also accelerates Legendary's regen and causes Burning Godzilla. 2, He can sense the location and status of every kaiju, meaning he'd be able to sense that Shin's not dead and that potential severed limbs are now counting as a kaiju and alive.

@alexkaen17012 жыл бұрын
Fighting Shin is like fighting the Borg, eventually it will adapt to everything. The question really is, if Legendary backed down, would Shin continue the fight? In its movie, Shin only really fought when met with a potential hazard, if it overwhelmed Legendary then it might turn its attention to other matters, letting Legendary get away and perhaps figure out a new plan. Realizing that it had to completely incinerate the beast is a bit out there, but not impossible as this is how Legendary defeated Ghidora. It might even team up with other monsters in the same way, getting Mothra and a few others to help, perhaps even playing out the same conclusion to King of the Monster.
@WolforNuva2 жыл бұрын
From what I can tell, Shin would be defeated, heal and adapt to that danger. Legendary would insist on a rematch after learning Shin is still up and kicking. If we stick to 1v1 then my guess is that Legendary probably loses, with Shin more likely adapting faster than Legendary can figure out and pull off destroying every last piece of Shin. If we let Legendary get help from other kaiju, then it becomes a big question mark imo. As the video says, we don't know what this new form of Shin would be like, it really could go in all sorts of directions depending on the factors in play. If Legendary gets help from humanity specifically, then I think Legendary is more likely to get the win. It is humanity that stopped Shin before, and this time humanity has a Godzilla on their side, and Shin isn't specifically adapting to them. It does depend on the humans learning how to counter him before his adaptions go too far out of control (since in this situation they're only coming in at 5th stage, rather than learning about him from his 3rd on). It is hard to say definitively since again this 5th form has too many unknowns, but I'd still be willing to give the Legendary human combo the likely win here.

Shin essentially responds like a proper animal, only attacking when it feels threatened or scared. Even if Legendary backed down, Shin likely wouldn’t be able to recognize that he was doing so, and would probably just try to continue to attack until its opponent was dead.
