it's called progressive. It's good and Gojira is awesome but it's not really new. It exists as early as 1960-70. Believe it or not, we have pop music to thank for its existence. Prog pop/rock was really big back then. And then Punk killed it in the 80's by favouring simple riffs. Pop went stupid. Metal later revives it back.

@artosbear
@artosbear 3 жыл бұрын
Hey bro I'm 100% serious, it's just a frank question, out of compassion: is it possible you're autistic and or ADHD? The frequent sensory and emotional burnouts experienced by autistic and adhd people often get mistaken for depression and disthymia and will be misidentified by themselves, people around them, and professionals, for a long, long time. Not that they can't coincide but it is a massive difference once identified because the way you treat disthymia and depression will never ever address these other things, not really. If youve never explored this please for your own sake, get on twitter, look up adhd alien pina comics, look up Steve asbell, look up save the neurotypicals, and look up the hashtag actually autistic, and just explore and explore. You might be surprised And stay away from autismspeaks and anything related to them.

I have listened to metal my whole life and playing guitar for more than 12 years now. I am 29. I am from India, from a village in West Bengal. There were a lot of financial struggles in my life, however i have struggled hard and now have been working as a software developer in Bangalore from 5 years. I earn good money now and trying to give everyone in my family a happy life. As all of you may know India is going through a health crisis due to corona because of which i have come home and have been working from home for 6 months. Well the point is I have never been in any rock concert. I would try my best to see GOJIRA live once in my lifetime. God bless everyone. We are metalheads. LOVE.

Got excited to see a new song released. Threw on the headphones, hit play, and literally threw both fists up in the air at 1:01. We got a good record coming up boys.

Each individual musician of this band is just so talented. You can hear it in every single song they released in their history.

" Found the Bottom begging for Air " That can ring a bell... Roughly a year ago I was going through the hardest time of my life on a mental scale... False accusations and separation from my 2 young sons... 8 year relationship cheated on and blamed for everything for busting her in the act.... Shit on in court even with a good attorney I hired... I wanted to give up on life. I was very close, alot of 4am phone calls with my mom and even my Boss a crying wrecked mess... I was promoted at the time to a shift lead ... I can tell everyone that once you hit the bottom... Push off and head for that air and light on the surface... Get away from that toxic person that is literally ruining your life... I'm 29 and being in the dark like that was terrifying ... I made it to the surface with a few friends and family that helped me and I did exactly what this song speaks versus on.... I hopped into the storm fucking ready.... I didn't give up so you shouldn't either... Catch your wave and ride that motherfucker to the shore... Walk another day don't sink... I hope this helps someone that is struggling.

A touch of metalcore without the cheesiness and mind melting polyrythms. What a banger!

I love how there is basically nothing revolutionary in this song yet it sounds refreshing and uplifting. Gojira took the best from L'Enfant and Sirius and brought us a banger.
