I don’t think this song actually has anything to do with being “born in winter”. I feel like it describes finding the strength in your heart when you are at your lowest and finding your true self through your struggles. I was born in California in July and this song makes me cry every time.

By far my most favorite song by Gojira! I would say this is the very first song I ever heard by them and it is inspiring me to learn more metal music even though I am a beginner at guitar and know a few simple E-standard riffs from Nirvana and a little bit of white stripes and other beginner bands mixed, the Drop -D format after watching a few tutorials and seeing how Silvera is played makes my mind realize how much of a damn masterpiece this song is worth learning to play!

This is everything you love about this band captured in a single performance. I'm still waiting for a live album with this extended version. An extended studio version for a Best Of compilation would also be highly appreciated. This song is like metal trance. It takes you on quite a journey.
