@@jet9066 @sabin97 "miruku" is japanese spelling for english "milk" (japanese often mix 'l' and 'r' when transliterating to and from latin alphabet languages, they also don't like lone consonants so they add extra vowels in between consonant clusters or at the end of words) 'chichi' is general japanese for " milk" and "breasts/tits" 'gyunyu' is specific for "cow/animal milk" as food product chichi is named like that because her father is named after an animal that gives milk

Toriyama had a great deal of fun with all the character names. Koku is a Japanese unit of measurement based on the amount of rice a person can eat in a year. Oolong is a variety of tea, Pilaf is a variety of rice, and so on. Bulma is Japanese for bloomers, underpants worn by women. There's more, but I'm trying to stay spoiler free.

At this point, Dragon Ball had a lot of influences from Dr. Slump. Talking animals and the lack of a serious plot. Unfortunately, it was lost over time.

GyuMaou is a demon king from the Journey to the West. Character names from the early days of Dragon Ball were taken from Journey to the West and Chinese food culture. The name Chichi, GyuMaou's daughter, comes from milk. According to Toriyama, she is the daughter of GyuMaou, so she chose a girlish name with something to do with cows. "GyuMaou = 牛魔王" Gyu (牛) = cow and Maou (魔王) = demon king.

Honestly the most adorable moment in this episode is when Goku and ChiChi are flying on Nimbus. ChiChi is having a hard time hanging on and Goku says "Try standing up- Here take my hand" so adorable

The dubbing of “Chi Chi is a bit of a coward” bothers me, he says she’s shy originally. I think her willingness to throw down with Yamcha and Roshi precludes her being a coward

As a martial artist himself, perhaps Ox King perceived her shyness as a form of cowardice. Since it would cause her to have an aversion to confronting certain things, which to him as a fighter seems cowardly.

@@Ciffer-1998 It's a little complicated. In Dragon Ball Minus it is stated that Goku was Born 734 and kept in an incubator for 3 years, in the databooks his date of birth is given as 737. If he was born 734 he would be three years oder than Chi-chi (737), two years older than Krillin (736) and a year younger than Bulma and Yamcha (733).

Goku is currently 11-12 at this stage because later in this season we get told he's 12 but that's like 6+months from now (in show time). I believe ChiChi is about the same age as Goku. We find out Balma is 16 in season 2 so she's about 15 now.

All the characters are supposed to be a rag-tag group of teenagers for all but the last part of the series. The Pilaf Gang aren't much older... except the emperor at 34... But Mai is 19 and Shu is around the same maturity.

Maybe she'll get drawing in more by the narrative as it progresses to want to do more but either way she's doing daily uploads so there's going to be something for subscribers to watch for a long time.

It's content for a content creator. And the viewer growth can just as easily be good if played out with daily content over the long term. Maybe the progression of the narrative will compel her to do more episodes a day. Either way she's posting daily so there's always something to watch.
