Gokusen ! It's a really fun drama! There are 3 seasons and movie. There is also a manga, which I strongly suggest to read, the story in the manga is pretty different from the show but still both are awesome.

They did make GTO into a live action, twice. In 1998 they did the first version followed by a special. In 2012 they made a remake and that followed up with its own social as well and then a second season.
