Gold Ace Mine - Gold Workings And Ruins | Deep Underground Mining Area

The Gold Ace mine is located just south of Beatty, NV in the Carrara mining district. The mine was originally named the Bull Moose Mine but was renamed in 1928 when gold production temporarily resumed. A 1918 version of The Mines Handbook indicates that a 10 stamp mill stood at this site. Many of those ruins are still there to see. As an interesting side note, with the price of gold at unprecedented levels a company is working to open a mining operation adjacent to this mine site.
