Good video, one question, when you bought the canyon sender did you disassemble the swingarm and re-grease it or did it come well lubricated from the factory, I just bought one and I don't know if is necesari to check it, thanks.

Hey Paul what special sauce is making that rear end stick to the ground when you drop it like that?? Ive never been able to replicate that. Im on an SD air shock atm but on my last bike i was running a Push 11-6 and i still couldn't get it to do that unless most of the air was out of my tire. Could it be an indication of a lighter spring which the damper is able to make up for?? Cheers man, I get all gitty when i see one of your YT vids on my feed lol

just slow down your rebound

@@farido9354 yes good solution ( to pack when riding): you may also consider this alternative solution: ride 35 years , study 25 years of which at least 15 in MTB suspension, research the best or nothing, put in reality and install it on the bile, and it will act as in the video.

You run your levers near horizontal to the ground? Any sidelines riding footage?

I setup that bike with levers at 10-12 degrees from ground. Paul is not that far off my like too!

@@RULEZMANSUSPENSION any reason for it? It obviously works for you, but I've always run them more vertical, easier to lift your fingers over them and a straight wrist in use

I don't know if the rear linkage on these bikes actually does something super clever, I ride hardtails, but every time I see a recent full sus I can't help but think the linkage looks janky and over engineered.
@hannes61142 жыл бұрын
It changes how the rear suspension behaves but yes - just a simple single pivot can work very well.

Mainly so they can adjust leverage curves but shocks are so tunable these days you can change any curve via them
