I am so glad you enjoyed watching @Adrian Wandering Swan 🇦🇺 this was a fantastic tour to go on, and Baz was a bloody legend of a guide! There wasn't too much he didn't know about this old mine, just amazing🙂 I would highly recommend anyone visiting the Bendigo area to check it out⛏️

@DetectingOz How good was our tour guide Baz mate! A wealth full of wonderful information about the old Deborah goldmine, and he delivered it flawlessly I thought. He was a wealth of information and experience on this old mine. The history and work the miners put in working these old shafts is just incredible. I did the tour 9levels of darkness (I think it’s called) a few years ago going down the old shaft , was awesome you should do that if you get a chance

Wow that would of been awesome to do @Azza Mudrock even going 61 metres to level 2 was amazing! I think my partner Helena told me that anything further than level two down is now flooded and unused. Otherwise I would of been all for it mate👌...take me to the centre of the earth thanks Baz😁

@@DigItDetecting level 9 was 228 meters deep so about half way down haha water was pumped out to level 10 if I remember right, got off at level 8 climbed the ladder down to 9 did a tour had lunch down there then caught the man cage back up to the top was an awesome trip, they may have shut it down over covid

@@DigItDetecting we got caught out when the lift burnt out on the way back up… 3 hours underground and got to ride the cage up after. The poppet head was great.. tight fit but a great experience
