Hi Dan, I'm 51 yrs old and have been learning about prospecting and metal detecting for a little while now. I want to thank you for your videos. I also want to tell you that I think you are a fantastic teacher. I remember a couple of my teachers from school that left a mark on me and I hope your students will look back some day and say, wow, I remember my teacher Mr.Hurd and he was awesome. I look forward to watching more from you. Roy from Auburn, WA. USA

I have been watching videos on this channel recently and I keep thinking how a student's attitude can affect their learning experience. I am here because I want to learn this, very specifically, and KZbin has made that feasible. These students in the background do not show respect for the instructor, show little interest in the subject matter, and in general are distracting to the students around them and the viewers now. For what it is worth Mr. Hurd, you are an excellent instructor and you deserve respect, hopefully some of your students will see these comments and adjust their attitude.

Geez, you're teaching such valuable information and the students in your class seem like they don't even want to be there. I'm glad you uploaded these here so that those who really are interested and grateful for your work can learn! Thank you Dan!

You are in your house comfortably! Just getting up, dressing for class and sitting on a bench lowers IQ,EQ, and attention span by 50%

Very instructive ! Wouldn't the pressure of the water wash away the gold during flood in canyons ? or is it still worth having a look in crevices ?

+John Darwen The principles of gold prospecting will be universal, I have been watching videos on the subject recently and found the channel Adventure Gold to be pretty informative, though I have seen better techniques demonstrated elsewhere, specifically from Hardrock University; Adventure Gold I believe is filmed in Australia, and may have information you find useful.
