Hey Shane! My name is Ethan and this morning I purchased my very first bag of Klesh Paydirt! I’ve been planning here in a creek in Vancouver WA for about a year. Lots of heavy material so I’ve learned to pan in some pretty challenging stuff. Find a few tiny pieces in almost every pan, but it’s a lot of work. Both my 12 and 5 year old daughters are learning to pan and we have a blast. We watch every single one of your videos! Merry Christmas from my family to you and all of the Klesh crew!

Watching the toothpicks being pushed around and examined with the toothpick is extremely relaxing to me. Yeah, I'm one of the weird super sensitive ASMR people. I found out that mine is likely related to a number of medical conditions that I've quietly had going on for most of my life.

@Klesh referring to your *sidewalk" scrounge days have you considered using the small "camper van" or car, cordless 12volt battery vacumm. Much easier than carting around that big "tub vacumm" you use. An army style single shoulder strap bag with a couple of h/d bin bags lining it would hold at least 10 litres of crack (?) dirt.

After your review I decided to go to LIFE since they are "local" (in Australia that is, I'm in Melbourne). I wanted to see what their gold looked like and paid US137.52 at the rate of exchange of the day for two grams and I got a small bottle in the mail. I looked at it and said no way that's 2 grams but when I weighed it sure enough it was two grams of very chunky pickers. Doesn't look anything like the gold I used to pan in Clear Creek when I lived in Golden but NICE!

So glad u have decoys but u should have got vogus or Shane to send u it …. Shane idea for a series the pacific ring of fire is where most of the world volcanos are which means gold and diamond getting paydirt from all around the circle and compare size and purity but also the difference between the gold crystalline to dust along with the host materials with the gold

The best way to season your pan is to take a piece of Scotch Bright scouring pad and scratch the pan perpendicular to the center creating mini ripples.

That works, personally I prefer the “handful of rocks” method

Always wanted to pan the red dirt of Australia. I got a hold of Lewis & Laura earlier this year and was totally stoked they were willing to ship to the U.S. I ordered two bags from them and the Paydirts did not disappoint! I also didn’t mind paying the shipping to have a once in a lifetime experience👍🏻 Merry Christmas to you and your family!🎄
