Gold & Pink Chalk Painted Provincial Nightstand with a Flower Wood Stain Shaded Design

I found this provincial nightstand at an estate sale and decided to give it a pink chalk paint finish with gold trim and top it all of with a flower design that I did using wood stain shading. I decided to paint this furniture with a brush and top coat with water based polyurethane using a sponge. I hope you enjoy this video! My furniture painting Discord community: / discord

Love this! My sis and I both had this set as a kid. The head board footboard. Chest and night stand. I love what you've done with this... We got ours in '76..I love what you have done way better than original. This isn't a nightstand any longer. It's a piece of art ☺️.

Thanks. My question is finally answered. 1976ish. My grandma got me this set in the 90s used. It’s now my daughter’s set, but recently refinished. Thanks for the date. I actually wasn’t even searching about refinishing furniture or my daughter’s set, it’s simply a question I had in my head and God sent the answer with two videos both being parts of her set. 💕 I truly love this set!!! And it really is sturdy enough to be there for my grandkids one day.

Wow what a great job! I have the exact same night stand. Got it from a friend who got it as a baby. She's 54 now so that goes to show you when these were made. I had to strip mine down and hand sand all the grooves. We just ended up staining it in mahogany and spray painted the handle gold. I really need to redo it and the big dresser that goes with it. I just had to let you know.....I like to refurbish furniture.....and I borrowed your idea for the flower, done with the stain.....I had these old 60s style end tables, thathavent moved in over a year...,so I did the flower design on top, and I priced them a little higher than what they were, and I was able to sell these, old retro tables, for $150. Thank you so much for sharing your skill! I've watched many of your video's, and have learned a few things.....and I'm old...lol....I've been doing this for years, but had never attempted to detail with stain.

The flower you made is beautiful loved how the table turned out! 👍👏 In other videos I have seen that when they out the wood stripper they put plastic grocery bags so it works faster. Flipping nataly does that. I think you should sell it for $75. Also another hack To clean the drawer handles is cleaning them with bar keepers friend. You find it next to the ajax. In any big box grocery store. Wet the handle then shake the power on rub with a soft cloth. And rince well. It cleans them amazing.
