My dad had a late 70s Gold trans-am, and would always talk about how it was like a reverse of the Smokey and the Bandit car. He passed away when I was 17. I also remember first seeing these body kits when I was 13 or 14 (I’m 25 now), and always thought “I’m gonna get one of these some day just like my dad”. I loved this video, great work!

I remember the time I just got back from the service particularly the time i got her running again but unfortunately for the last time. The main thing to think about is that these will be not only iconic to the eye, but also you will never find a gas vehicle like this in the future. So think of those numbers and it sounds like the quality in value is something that only people who have a lot of money could afford, but if you want normal, regular people like myself well I don’t have that kind of money yet. Ha ha ha

The recession of 2008 was the final straw. Watch the documentary Roman (from RegularCarReviews) did on the topic. GM was _deep_ in the red and had to dump their least profitable brands. They REALLY didn't want to choose Pontiac but Buick was the number one choice in China so their hands were tied. In 2009 it was decided Pontiac and Saturn were done for. [Edit: Just remembered Oldsmobile, too, but who cares?] Silver lining ~ they released the GTO before closing up shop. When tuned right, those things can rape eardrums. Wow I just have to say, I fell in love with the T.A. in about 1976 as a young guy I knew I wanted one when I grew up, I traced them back to older years and its been my number one car ever since. I had a 1979 when I grew up. I feel like I wrote this before. In school I did book reports on it in English classes. I left my T.A. in Germany they even have a trans am following and sell them overseas as Targars if I remember correctly, now I drive high powered German cars. Ever since the 1980's . I love the trans am shape so much that I always have a two door shaped close to that. It's so much I can say but I'll close. My next toy. Well I want one 455 S.D in my posession (GOLD) rush .I feel like we're family . When I come back to Florida I'm in N.J. Philadelphia area now I'll look yaw up.
