Not a Golden Girl, they were retired, except Maude who went back to work to be a substitute teacher. Blanche never worked,she was rich from Her Southern Family. Rose was retired and living off her pension. Ma,was a widow living off her husband's pension They all lived together to reduce the cost of living. GG and DESIGNING WOMEN, along with others were the women of the 60's. Betty White just recently passed, She was the last of the GG. I can see why the Defendant would like the show, he is a combination of all 4 women. I bet he likes DESIGNING WOMEN .and he probably likes Reality TV Shows.
