The plaintiff was good friends with the defendant, and they went out together all the time. The plaintiff claims he and the defendant went out of town for a birthday party, but the defendant made them miss their flight home, and they were forced to stay in a hotel. He’s suing the defendant for travel expenses and emotional distress. The defendant alleges it was the plaintiff’s cousin who made them miss their flight, so he denies owing a dime.
