LOVE, absolutely LOVE this bit of Alan Rickman. I love him at all points of his career, but I have to say there’s something cheerful and free about early-mid 90’s Alan that I just love. Like, he’s still excited to be part of Hollywood (he sometimes looks irritated and unenthusiastic in later years being forced to answer the same questions over and over). I also think if he’s like everyone else at these award shows, he’s probably had a few glasses of wine and he’s just letting himself go a little. He’s smiling and cheeky and I just adore him. This has to be one of my favorites!! I always love his intensity and focus, but this is such a unique moment where he’s just enjoying and having fun and it’s absolutely delightful.
