It is now 2024 those recordings were 1965 66 Eric Burdon Steve Winwood about 60 years ago. Hard to imagine and 1975 Steeleye span almost. 50 years ago

Très bonne idée de jouer ces chansons dans leur entièreté. Dommage que la plupart sont interprétées en "play back". Il est a remarquer une formidable adaptation de la chanson de Sonny and Cher : "The beat goes on" par le groupe Vanilla Fudge en 1968 qui dure 14 mn. Ils ont complètement dénaturé l'original mais juste gardé le rythme de la basse. Ils y ont aussi incorporé dedans trois extraits de discours des trois derniers présidents amérikains de l'époque. La musique expérimentale débutait... *** Very good idea tae play these songs in their entirety. Too bad most o' 'hem are performed in "play back". It is worth noting a wonderful adaptation of the song : "The beat goes on" from Sonny and Cher by the group Vanilla Fudge in 1968 which lasts 14 minutes. They completely distorted the original but just kept the rhythm of the bass. They also incorporated three excerpts from speeches by the last three Amerikan presidents of the time. Experimental music was beginning...

@@kw19193I know it’s a big call but Price was a better singer than Burdon judging by his vocal performances after The Animals. I know Burdon was supposed to be “soulful” but I was never a fan of his vocals. Ah, I feel better now I’ve said that. 😊
