"Golden Sandy Beach Walk" At Three Cliffs Bay - Gower, WALES

Today on my walk I will show you spectacular shoreline of sand dunes, salt marsh and backed by three limestone cliffs at Three Cliffs Bay.
Three Cliff Bay, is a bay on the south coast of the Gower Peninsula in the City and County of Swansea.
Three Cliffs Bay is one of the most photographed places on the peninsula, with great tracts of golden sand.
Three Cliffs Bay is named after the 3 pointy cliffs on this beach which sit between Pobbles Bay and Three Cliffs Bay.

Access to the beach here can also be gained from Southgate village, the other side of the stream from where this footage was taken. There is a small shop, restaurant and a nearby country club in Southgate, and a walk along the cliff path from the car park to the beach and the beach shown in this film is around a mile. Small coves to other beaches too, area is beautiful and generally quieter than the more popular Gower beaches at Langland, Caswell, Oxwich, Port Eynon and Rhossili. For Three Cliffs, and nearby beaches, visit at low water on the spring tides when the tide goes out further, but there are treacherous tides so take care, you need to ensure you dont get cut off on the flooding tide when the streams can fill being you on the beach and cut you off. The coves along Southgate and Pennard cliffs in front of the car park can be accessed by paths which can be difficult for the elderly or disabled, but for kids, loads of rock pools with fish, crabs, shrimp and prawn.

Thanks for watching Hellie 🙂 I think there are a few factors affecting the popularity. 1. Its a very steep road to gain access 2. It was a sunny day but wasn't particularly hot. I agree it's a lovely beach.
