Because it never happens during Mercury Lighthouse. The game removes it from his repertoire, along with Inferno, Wish, Protect, and Potent Cure for that battle because the Lighthouse is sealing his full powers. Sorry, but you aren't lucky. Lucky is me when I fought Deadbeard and he did nothing but attack. No spells, no special attacks, no nothing. :)

Golden Sun was a GOLDEN game for it's time one the GBA, this was a true RPG for the hand held. That's not saying that the Final Fantasy series didn't keep up, but Golden Sun did take the reigns when it came out and is still in my top 10 list as number 2 being my favorite RPGs. Number one being Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap.

The defining moment in this song is the arpeggio section at 0:34. I waited until then to really pass judgement. And my verdict is: This is kick-your-own-ass awesome. :D

i'm REALLY nervous when someone trys to attempt at remix, espicially when its a song i really love like this one. In my opinion, most of the remixes i've heard fail horribly, but this is actually a really kick-face one. it sticks to the tune quite well, there are a few rough spots but overall I am really impressed. this is one of the very few remixes i like.

The arrangement of this makes it sound like something from Star Ocean 2, which makes perfect sense, given that the original is by Motoi Sakaruba (sp?) who also composed the Star Ocean soundtracks. I would not be surprised if the arranger intentionally chose this instrumentation to make it sound that way. It's awesome. :D

I remember finishing the Mercury lighthouse before going to Kolima forest, I succeeded in beating Saturos without the extra items and with a very poor level. That was HARD ^^

He's not all that hard to beat. It just takes good turn coordination. You have to know what order everyone in your party is going to act in relation to Saturos. Slugging it out and hoping for the best won't get you anywhere. I beat him at as low a level as level 8. Now THAT was hard.

He was extremely difficult for me at level 7-8. I died once easily, and got lucky in the rematch using the crystal powders in the lighthouse..just barely.

@UltamiaDC You know what at that time Golden sun had the best graphic of all games that I played I was simply amazed at what my GBA can do when i plug that cartridge in. Even till now this game graphic and music and gameplay still beats every games I ever played.

dark dawn music stood up the the first two(boss battle theme was the best out of the 3 GS game, at least to me). difficulty was there until we got the gave eclipse. 1st enemies of grave eclipse were tough but after a few battle you were leveling like crazy.
