As someone who has never been big on Southeast Asian food, (ironically as an Ethnic Filipino which is a Southeast Asian background), I'm mega happy I found this channel to help me find an appreciation for a culture I used to not give more of a thought to. Parbat means a mountain or a peak. In the old days, back when there was only one country(Indo-Pak), the rishis or the saints would go there to attain spirituality. Since they would be only in dhoti (cloth which covers only your legs) and some of them would even be completely naked. Hence the name Nanga Parbat.
