There is something so utterly heartwarming about how Jack portrays children - they are so sweet and they make the cutest sounds. I've seen a lot of different ways that people represent kids in art and music and the way Jack does makes me so unbelievably happy for some reason.

Ok… contrary to popular belief of Goldie being his wife, I think that Goldie might be the daughter who butted in during the song for dinner. Though she is still alive, the dad is mourning the younger version of Goldie. This explains the scene of him watching almost somberly towards the playing children. The stuff in the storage might also belong to her. I’m not good at making theories for this stuff, but this is just my interpretation of the video

There’s something so special about Jack Stauber. There are so many animations that start happy and then have some sort of twist, and that’s ok, but you rarely find an animation that ends happily. And when you do find one, it’s a nice change of pace. But these videos don’t really fall under feel good, and they don’t have any dark twists at the end. It’s just interesting. It pulls you in without needing a conflict. Not much needs to happen, you don’t always need to understand what’s happening. It’s just somehow nice to watch.

One of the few animations on the internet to legitimately make me tear up every time I watch it. Just something so simple has left me with a feeling of emptiness but also optimism. I imagine it being tough for a lot of people when one of your loved ones passes away, especially if it's your significant other. But there's also the good part in remembering fondly on the time spent together and keeping them in your heart, even long after they've left this world. If this really was the last video on Jack Stauber's youtube channel, it'd certainly be the best way to end it.

I love the message. The world is changing, we are getting older, but all we can do is accept it, no matter what. Some people watch this and think its just another eerie weird video, but it reminds me of that fact that no matter what, the world is developing around us. It is a clear demonstration of what might happen to anybody who is still young. One day we will all be old, just sitting on a rocking chair, watching grandchildren play while missing a deceased pal/family.

"Take up my storage, it's all your-age" This one line really hit me hard, because it applies to anyone and everyone who's lost someone they love. The only thing they leave behind are the things they took along their journey that get left behind. I got a bit teary-eyed. Edit: Also something I thought about, the people who take said loved one's stuff on their shoulders, they are holding onto the remaining pieces of this person's legacy, whether it be a book, paper, drawing, comic, music album, etc. And they take it upon themselves to continue their legacy. To stand in spite against the cruel nature of our reality and refuse for the dead to be forgotten.

My mom passed away from cancer back in February of 2020. My dad has been in an on and off low since, and sometimes he'll listen to music that reminds him of her. He even has our dog in the room with him by his chair. Something about this scene shows such a small reflection of that same kind of quiet sadness, a melancholy after losing a partner. Even when there's other people still in your life looking after you and others enjoying the simple pleasures of the outdoors, you just calmly sing about your lost love. Change "Goldie" to "Rosie," and it's very much close to home for me

Goldie as in Goldie Locks hol up *theory time* Goldie is Goldie Locks from the nursery rhyme. She’s obviously a kid because she isn’t plagued by the reality that life is meaningless and is going to be the same until she dies. So he “married” maybe not married but whatever, he married minor Goldie Locks and later the bears gruesomely ate her and left her entrails at their doorstep because she ate their porridge. Ok this comment is cringe but I’m so freaking bored you don’t even know. What is life? Do I exist ok bye now bruh moment GG 😀😀😀😃😃😂😂😂

Jordan A holy shit man here’s what i was thinking: he looks at the chair and says he misses her, and it shows the trophy case with all the childhood things like a teddy bear and then he shows some little kids while he’s singing. his daughter comes out to tell him dinners ready but when she goes back in he continues to look at her chair and the children and sing. i just thought he was sad his daughter grew up and wasn’t as innocent and unconditional as she once was edit: goldie sounds like a cute childhood nickname he might give his daughter, and maybe this was a lullaby or a cute song he used to sing to her

Everyone is talking about goldie like a person but everyone is ignoring the trophy. This is a remake of an older video with the same name which leads me to believe this represents a point in jack's life he wants to go back to, when he wasn't as popular as now. Idk why that is, maybe Jack doesn't like being "famous" and wants to go back to making stuff for fun and not because it's his job. The video he's remaking (goldie) may have been released in the time of his career he wants to go back to. Another thing that supports this is that the name goldie may be a reference to the expression of "golden years". The kids are representing that time when he was young and was making music for fun. And the daughter may represent the fanbase, because she cares about her dad like (most) of jack's fanbase cares about him. But that's just a theory A FIL- Edit: this theory sucks lmao

@@adamwarlord6442 - Well. The thought of comfort and that song itself now feel a little sour. Your mission is complete I guess. Luckily Jack Stauber has a charm that usually doesn't let those things stick, it makes his stuff timeless and I'm eternally grateful for that. Dumb jokes stay dumb jokes, and his messages still hold their weight.

Jack I've been following you since you were a small channel and it's just so heartwarming to see you've gone so far with your love for animation and music yet you still make such consistently amazing works. Your music helped cheer me up while I was going through breaking apart from my friends and bf while I was studying for the boards simultaneously. May your creative mind stay running, you're truly a gift ❤️
