Quite a few years ago we had an RC track for racing RC off road cars. in Las Vegas, NV. They had competitions every week end, but they had one problem, that caused everybody to loose interest. It was the only place back then that we could get the new parts, to up grade our cars for the races. The employees of the store always bought up all the new up grades and there were none left for the other customers , so we finally just stopped coming .

that sounds as fair as a organiser that race in his own race to win and dont need to pay the winner

LMAO blowing that can up was hilarious. Everyone so scared. Ever bundle up red sparklers. Several years back like 20+ one happened to go off at the Banks Lank Reservoir (grand coulee dam before 9/11 lololololol of course). My friend heard it go off not in Grand Coulee (which is a town), not in Coulee Dam (which is another town) but Elmer City (a town about 8 miles from where it went off maybe 10). Yeah... fun times. Explosions are fun though. We use to blow up beaver dams on our farm with Dynamite. Fun times. :D

Theres a carpet track in our city, though I'm hoping theres an actual dirt track too because I loved the feel of that as a kid, but if there is I may still give it a shot. The buggy im getting (104001) is basically designed to run on carpet and even comes with carpet tires. May be worth going to the carpet track until I can afford a good set of dirt tires for it. ^_^

You guys are so lucky up in DFW/garland. Y’all have a lot of tracks opening up, in a close proximity...I can’t wait to hit up Billy Tylaska at A#1 Raceway and get some laps with my teammates, either....I’ll be up that way soon..take care man 👍🏼

@byzone06324 жыл бұрын
17.5 is a stock 2 wheel drive buggy class. 17.5 refers to the amount of wire turns in the motor, and it is considered stock as everyone who is running that class has the same motor. if you want some info about the different classes you can go watch roach rc's video on 10th Scale Off-road Classes Explaied. kzbin.info/www/bejne/h3axq3WLe8lsmpo

All i have is a hpi rs4 nitro and a redcatt blackout me and my nephew mess around want to get something better just wow some cars are exspensive ...i thought ball pythons were exspensive lol
@NeoIsrafil3 жыл бұрын
Hpi rs4 nitro is pretty dang good... redcat racing makes decent stuff too. Id say about the only step up you've got to look forward to is Team Associated, Yokomo, or... its kinda sideways, not up, but Traxxas. If you want a fun but cheap buggy the new 104001 from wltoys is actually a pretty neat starter buggy you can build up to be very fast. You could also get their 12 or 14th scale buggys and have a good time. There is always parts support for them. Wouldnt be quite the quality youre used to with HPI and Redcat, but for the money and if its a kid who's gonna drive it (for your nephew) you could start him out on a wltoys model and have him build it up to his liking.

Can 1/8 scale run on this track?
@byzone06324 жыл бұрын
No this is way too small for 1/8 scale and 1/8 scale really can't run on carpet anyway. My local track is a bit smaller than that and someone brought a 1/8 ebuggy to practice with and now there is a giant hole in the wall
@NeoIsrafil3 жыл бұрын
Id almost say the size of that track 12th or 14th scale would be better, though I'm guessing they run 10th. Its so narrow of a lane.
